“We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. Though much was written in other reviews about the noise from the mosques nearby, they did not bother us at all - it was actually a nice sampling of one part of life for most Indonesians and not disturbing of our rest. “We loved the service and most of the staff were very friendly especially in the restaurant and in reception.
We were a bit disappointed with the paid breakfast (very repetitive) and WiFi quality. Not the cleanest place though considering the price tag. Quite an old mattress and pillows unfortunately. ”
