Cinnamon Bentota Beach â Signature Selection

"Booked a sea view room but could not see the ocean as lots of trees in front. Hotel was nice and nice staff. But breakfast was soooo noisy and not a nice way of starting your day. But food was nice. The seafood restaurant was also lovely but the italian place was not good and very slow service. But the area around the hotel was not nice and there was nothing to see or no shops. Just a super busy crazy street where you could hardly walk. No other restaurants in the area worth visiting - so felt a bit âtrappedâ in a resort that was no different to Bali or Thaliand - except for the very nice Sri Lankan curries. Beach looked nice, but after a walk we came back with our feet covered in oilđ±And it was very difficult to get it off. Apparently there are tourist boats outside that dump the oil in the ocean, horrible!"

"Beautiful hotel close to Galle Forte with a view to dye for. Loved our lazy days overlooking the ocean next to the pool. Great service and nice food. My husband had to work as we were stranded based on the war, and there was a nice desk where he could work away looking at the ocean. Only minus for us was the pool bar where the served pizza etc. We were the only ones for dinner one night and had to ask for our drinks and food twice?! The seemed totally not interested and did not pay us much attention. "

"Rummet var perfekt, havsutsikt, frÀscht badrum och havsutsikt. Personalen hjÀlpsamma. SÀngarna var Ät det hÄrda hÄllet, men inget som förstörde vÄr vistelse. Vi tom utökade vÄr vistelse med ytterligare en natt för att hotellets lÀge och bekvÀmlightetwr passade oss sÄ bra."

"Quite worn out hotel. Not at all value for money. Dirty rooms. Needs renovation. Service very confused and unstable. Rooms not cleaned before 6 pm. However nice situated at the beach. Not possible for swim as to risky. Ok pool."

"Det var inte vÀrt pengarna. Detta var vÄrt fjÀrde 5-stjÀrniga hotell pÄ Sri Lanka och suverÀnt dyrast och tyvÀrr sÀmst. Rummet var fint med underbart badrum och snygg stor garderob men det luktade gammal kÀllare i sovrummet. Vi fick en myggspray för att dölja doften men det hjÀlpte bara en kort stund. Alla vÄra klÀder och vÀskor luktade unket efter resan. Maten var alldeles för dyr pÄ hotellet. Den kostade mer Àn dubbelt sÄ mycket jÀmfört med alla andra hotell pÄ Sri Lanka och den var inte godare. Det var det enda hotellet som skrev allt i dollar; det sÄg billigare ut pÄ det sÀttet. Inte nÄgonstans stod det heller att de la till nÀstan 30% skatt pÄ priserna och detta gjorde inget annat hotell pÄ ön. StÀllet Àr vackert men jag rekommenderar inte det! "
