âThis was like a piece of tranquil paradise in the middle of Galle Fort. Itâs excellently located for exploring the fort and the building is beautifully preserved and offers excellent and spacious accommodation. We loved the room with a garden balcony, as we could watch and hear the world go by from the comfort of our room. The staff are so kind and offer many great tips for places to see inside the fort and were always in hand to make our stay extra special. Breakfast is very sizeable with many...
âNormally Iâm not the person who writes reviews. But this hotel really deserves a good review. Its was great staying for me. Great interior design, cozy, clean. Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees.
Also staff were really really helpful, kind and caring. I had injury on my foot. They were really careful about this. Thank you Roshan and Banuka!â

âAmazing hotel in the middle of Galle Fort. Service was one of the best. Extra thanks to Madushan and Petar. We were encouraged to visit the sister hotel, Kurulu Bay. And we had an amazing afternoon and evening there. The food in the restaurant both at the Printers and at Kurulu was the best we have had in Sri Lanka so far.

â56 By Deco is smack bang in the middle of the old Fort district of Galle with restaurents and shops all around and the old sea wall just a five minute walk away. The hotel is very small but the rooms were clean, well equipped and quiet. The staff were super attentive and friendly. Breakfast downstairs was great and served another friendly member of the team. If you are spending a day or two in Galle I can warmly recommend.â

âLovely homestay with such attention to detail in property. Good Sri Lankan breakfast. Quiet area except for some railway noise but not a problem for us. Half hour walk to fort( plenty of tuk-tuks if you want) Helpful & friendly host.â
âIt's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay.â
