Ett spektakulärt lanthus som ligger i hjärtat av Strathtyrum Estate, hem till den populära Balgove Larder farmshop och restaurang och kort avstånd från St Andrews. Faktorshus har genomgått fullständig renovering och är nu tillgänglig för uthyrning

Det är ett fem sovrum, 3 badrum hus med ett vackert vardagsrum och en fantastisk öppen planlösning lantgård kök / matsal (komplett med 4 ugn Aga). Inrymt inom rymliga grunder, inklusive en vacker muromgärdad trädgård Factors House erbjuder ett tillfälle att prova äkta lantliv samtidigt som det är ett stenkast från allt som historiska St Andrews har att erbjuda.

Faktorshus byggdes ursprungligen i mitten av 1800-talet och många ursprungliga egenskaper har behållits medan fastigheten har blivit fullt uppdaterad. House was amazing. Everything I thought it would be from the listing, accurately portrayed.We had a wonderful 2 weeks there. There were some provisions in the house when we arrived to get us started after our long journey from the west coast of the US.I would/will go back to stay there.

Fife Cottages Makes Our Stay in St. Andrews Exceptional

Stayed 5 days and 4 nights at Factor’s House. Exceptionally well maintained and was a great layout for us. We were a party of 6, 3 Dads with their sons who just graduated. Although we were just 6, the house easily would handle 10. The kitchen is great for morning pre-golf breakfasts. Living room was A for an end of evening Scotch. With three bathrooms, two of which had great showers, getting ready in the morning was easy. The water was always hot!! Great room beside the kitchen for storing the clubs and for beers in the second fridge. Although we drove most times, the walk into town was very doable. There is a walking path at the end of the entry drive that goes straight to town. Overall exceptional experience and I know where we will be staying next time in St. Andrews!

Stunning House

Wonderful house, perfect for our family in preparation for our daughter's wedding. Kitchen is excellent, lots of extra room in the utility for kit/boots etc. it is about 1000metres from road on a dirt track so a little care needed but that aside no issues. The welcome pack was also very good and a real treat so many thanks.

Great location for golf remote and peaceful

Lovely spot just outside St Andrews perfect for golf. Spacious clean and well equipped. Was lovely to arrive and provisions such as milk tea coffee bacon & eggs left for us especially as we did not arrive until late evening.

Beautiful spot and perfect house

Brilliantly sized property for 8 of us to stay and well equipped kitchen. Very short taxi ride into St Andrews, about 5 minutes to the course, 7 to the centre.

Fantastic house!

We loved our stay at the Factor House in St Andrews. The house was on an amazing farm. Very quick drive to town or a nice walk. The hosts were wonderful and communicative. I highly recommend!!

Remote and quiet

A lovely house with large rooms. The house was always warm and the kitchen was the heart of the place. Good facilities in general. The lounge furniture could do with updating, we all found the settees uncomfortable. There was lots of wildlife however, very large spiders and lots of flies. The track up to the house was bumpy and full of potholes. It’s remote location made the place beautiful and quiet, nothing to disturb you at night. It is close to St Andrews, just 6 mins drive or a pleasant walk. Overall it was excellent with some room for improvement.

Loved our stay at the Factor's House

I highly recommend the Factor's House when traveling with family and friends. We had 10 (5 couples) in our group. The home and property are beautiful, spacious, and clean and only minutes from the Old Course, St. Andrews and other nearby towns and villages. When we arrived we were welcomed with fresh meats and eggs from the nearby (and equally awesome) Balgove Larder. Checking in and out instructions were simple and clear.

Lovely property with plenty of space for a large family celebration. Apart from a kitchen sink broken by previous occupant all facilities worked well. But I think the state of the road leading to the property needs updating. Very potholed causing a few back problems. Also as the majority of our party were older taking the rubbish to the gate was not possible without wheelie bins.

Lovely country house located near St Andrews

We spent a fantastic Christmas at this beautiful country house. It is well decorated, a cosy sitting room with a fireplace, spacious, well-equipped kitchen, nice touches including bread, milk and lovely treats from the nearby farm shop. Fife Cottage and the housekeeper both provided quick communication. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Lovely old traditional property on the outskirts of St Andrews

Very charming property with plenty of room to spread out. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Loved the well equipped pretty kitchen with the warm aga. The property is at the end of a very long driveway and is very quiet and secluded yet literally a 4 minute drive into town. We appreciated the nice welcoming touches left for us on arrival. Communication was great. We would recommend this property.

Great Stay

This is a wonderful home away from home. The property is stunning and we will be back!

The Factor's House is a perfect location for those traveling to St Andrews. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed; the living area is cozy and inviting ;and the heat works!! I would recommend this property to anyone coming, either as a family or a group of friends. Every step of the process was easy and the property manager was available within minutes for the answer to any question.
