Vacker strand hem ~ Privata pool ~ NYTT REDECORATED!

Du kommer att älska din vistelse på CoCos Beach Cottage. Denna professionellt inredda stranden hem har egen privat pool och mycket mycket mer. De tre sovrum och tv�� och en halv bad hemmet ligger bara meter från havet på Vilano Beach. Den intracoastal vattenvägen ligger bara en kort promenad i andra riktningen.

Huset är två nivåer, 3 sovrum och 2. 5 badrum, med en maximal beläggning på 10. Det finns tre queen size-sängar, 2 hopfällbara sängar och en bäddsoffa. Badrummen har en walk in shower, en badkar combo, och master badrummet har jacuzzi badkar. Varje sovrum har en TV! Det finns ett komplett k��k, med matplats och en frukostbar.

Den husdjursvänliga CoCos Beach Cottage har alla fixingar som gör att du känner dig som hemma under din semester. Lyxiga sängkläder, trägolv, vacker inredning, fullt utrustat kök, stor HDTV platt-tv, DVD-spelare, WiFi, tv����ttmaskin och torktumlare, diskmaskin, h��rtork och ännu mer.

100 steg till stranden från en enkel väg p�� ena sidan och en 2 minuters promenad till Inter-kustvattenvägen på den andra. Detta lugna men h���ftområde i Vilano / North Beach är populärt för surfing, paddla boarding, surf fiske, haj tänder jakt och mycket mer. Det finns många bra restauranger inom några minuter att du kan gå, cykla eller köra till. Vårt bekväma hem är en 5 minuters bilresa till den roliga och aktivitetsfyllda ��ldsta staden i Amerika, St. Augustine! Vilano Beach Pier är en 2 minuters bilresa bort (eller 40 minuters promenad) där du hittar en Publix livsmedelsbutik och en mini utomhus köpcentret. I samma område finns ett lokalt postkontor, Bait & Gear butik, båtuthyrning och gasdocka, en lokal pub och flera restauranger nära och på Intercoastal-stranden. En 20 minuters bilresa till PGA: s hem på TPC Sawgrass, och en 2 timmars bilresa till Disney World.

Vilano Beach, som ligger på Veterans Island, i St. Augustine ligger närmare det historiska distriktet än någon annan av St. Augustinas stränder. Det är bara 5 minuter till de historiska sevärdheterna och det antika distriktet. Tillbringa dina morgon på stränderna, och eftermiddagen promenerar längs St. George Street, downtown St. Augustine.

Bortsett fr��n det historiska distriktet, är CoCos Beach Cottage ett bra ställe för sportentusiaster. Fiske, båtliv och alla andra vattensporter ligger bara några minuter bort. PGA golfbanor i Ponte Vedra, som ligger bara i norr. Du kan vara på ett Jacksonville Jaguars-spel inom 45 minuter. Något för alla p�� CoCos Beach Cottage.

We loved it!

We had an amazing stay at this property. The location was perfect as we were able to walk to Caps, Aunt Kate’s, and the Reef. Most importantly, this property was perfect for my dog. He was so comfortable here with the fenced in backyard, carpeted floors, and spacious living area. Would definitely book again.

Beaches and History

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Coco's Beach Cottage. Very close to the beach and short drive to historic St. Augustine. Communications with the owner were very good!

Great place -We will be back!

The decription of the home was accurately defined. It was close to the beach- walking distance! The kiddos loved the pool- you can ask for it to be heated for a fee(we did this- and were happy we did). Great location to get to St. Augustine. Marty communicated quickly when needed. Highly recommend, we will be back!

Perfect location

The location is ideal; super short walk to the beach. The surrounding neighborhood is great for walking/biking. Publix is very close, maybe a mile away. The Reef restaurant is also nearby and the food is excellent! Vilano Beach is the perfect distance from Saint Augustine. I highly recommend this stay!

Great stay.

Our family had a great stay over spring break. Location is great with short walk to beach. Pool was a hit with our grandkids. A few small improvements would make it even better - more silverwear, some new nonstick pans and a smart TV in the living room.

Family Vacation 2023

The only thing we didn’t realize before booking was that all three bedrooms are upstairs. It wasn’t a big deal, we were just thinking one bedroom was downstairs. Our grandchildren enjoyed the pool the most! This was the first time that me, my kids, and grandkids all stayed in the same house together, and it was so much fun! It was also the first time staying on Vilano Beach instead of St. Augustine Beach and we enjoyed it so much we’re thinking about going back next year! Thank you for allowing us to rent CoCo’s Beach Cottage for the week!

I really didn’t see anything extra for the ‘VRBO experience’ There was no welcome basket or notebook with information about the tv remotes and/or restaurants and activities. The 50 steps to beach was a little bit deceptive. We were disappointed the pool was full of leaves.

Spring Break

Spent the week in St. Augustine for Spring Break with our family. House was convenient and a quick walk to the beach. I did not realize the Master was upstairs so be ready to climb up with all of your luggage! The beds were very comfortable. The living room furniture is not the greatest and it is packed into a tiny living room where you cannot fully open the doors to the back porch. Would be better if they consolidated the furniture and set it up differently to allow a better flow of traffic. The kitchen was fine. Don’t plan to cook a big meal as pots and pans were very old. Knives were so dull we could not sure bread and the baking sheets were very old and gross. All in all it met our needs but not the mostLuxurious!

Pros and cons

Check in process was easy, the layout of the home is good for the privacy upstairs and kitchen downstairs. We visited over Spring Break and the space needed major cleaning. Grass needed mowed, pool was Sandy and had stuff in it, tons of trash out front, and pillows were unusable. The pool is tiny w no hangout space out back. The place including the windows needs a good pressure wash. We were happy to snag a place last minute at the beach but definitely overpaid for this. Someone needs to take a week off renting it and get it back in rental shape for that kind of money.

We liked the house for the most part but I needed to do my homework before renting.

We liked the house but I thought we would be able to see the ocean from the house. My mom cannot walk without a walker so she could not get to the beach from the property she also could not get up the stairs to the bedrooms but we made it work. Next time I book need to make sure it’s handicap accessible. I do think the owner needs to update some pictures because we did not have any steps to use to get to the beach and it did show steps going down to the beach according to the pictures.

Beach house minus the beach accessories

This beach house had no beach towels, no beach umbrella or tent, one broken beach chair and 3 ancient, disgusting chairs. Ants covered the walkway and lawn(don't know if these were fire ants or not). House can sleep 10, we were 6, And had to wash towels on a daily basis just for bathing. They certainly was not enough to use as beach towels. There was no plastic glassware to use by the pool Tha extra sheets were scatchy and as hard as cardboard. Overall we had a decent time but would have had a much better experience if it had the proper amenities you'd expect a beach house to have.

Nice property- pool needed to be cleaned

First I'd like to thank the rental company and housekeeping for calling when the property was ready a bit earlier than the check in time. We had requested that as our flights arrived into Jacksonville early that morning and we didn't have a car so no place to store our luggage. Unfortunately since we had to stop at the rental office first, that added additional time to our commute and we weren't able to take advantage. I would reccommend leaving the code at the house to save this additional step and time. One other reccomendation would be to have pool cleaning tools. The pool was full of leaves and the filter was full as well, so we had to clean the filter and the pool by hand. A voicemail to the rental office on Sunday (they were closed) was not returned. They did however respond to a plumbing issue very quickly which did not impact anything on our stay. Clean property, but pool was essentially unusable.

Needs maintenance and a good scrub

Great location, the house has a great set up. Lovely neighborhood. The property needs to be cleaned. I understand people don’t care for other people’s homes - renting out your property is stressful. We have rentals in Ohio, so we noticed things. I would change cleaning companies. The dust is thick all over headboards and trim. We picked up trash in the backyard - the backyard was covered in weeds. The dining room rug smelled to strongly of animal urine. (I know pets are allowed and that’s awesome and we appreciate it. I can’t imagine bringing an animal to someone’s property, knowing your pet isn’t trained. People who do this are obviously the problem. The pots and pans are beat. The refrigerator had food stuck to the front of it. The shower curtain upstairs is covered in mold at the bottom. This house just needs maintenance. I wanted to give it a giant hug. We felt forced to travel during the covid-19 pandemic. The travel cancellation policy would not cover cancellation. Even though VRBO said the properties they represent were giving refunds or letting people reschedule, that wasn’t the case. That added a lot of stress to our trip. We had two kids with us and a 68 year old leukemia survivor. So, we were worried the whole time - then questioned the cleanliness of the property, it was very stressful. Obviously no attractions were open. So, we sat in the house for 7 days. Thank God for good weather. The pool was lovely. Cleaning it out everyday was fun. The trees above it were dropping seedlings nonstop, so we realized we never want to own a pool, lol. But it was nice. Thank you. Wish we could have rescheduled, but thanks. (If the maintenance company wants them, I have lots of pictures).

We enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for our family and pets. The location was so close to the beach - just steps away. And, we were a short drive to downtown. We could be there in just a few minutes. The property manager was so easy to work with and gave us a great recommendation for buying fresh local seafood. Can’t wait to visit again!
