Great vacation
This was our first year staying at Colony Reef Club. We typically stay at another condo, however, due to lack of availability as late as we booked our trip, we ended up here. It was really nice and a very clean condo. The property was kept clean and the maintenance gentleman was very personable. The only complaint we have about this place is the parking. When we arrived, there were no parking spaces near our building. There is only one 15 minute loading/ unloading parking area but we had two full vehicles to unload. The parking lot was a little congested with everyone checking in around the same time. Parking passes are provided for up to two vehicles, however, parking availability is a different story. We stayed during 4th of July week. The blue parking passes were supposed to allow us to park next to the building we were staying in. We maybe had two parking spaces by the building the entire time. Otherwise, we had to park away from where we were staying and the second vehicle we had (orange pass holder) had to park in the only available spots which were located near the main road past the front office. It appeared that many of the vehicles that were parked right up near the buildings did not have passes and parking passes were never checked throughout our stay. The rules stated that vehicles would be towed if they were not in their designated areas. Well, that wasn’t the case and parking seemed like a free-for-all. Great for short term visitors, unfortunate for renters.
