The location was very central for St Augustine and only a short drive from the historic town, and walkable for the beach. The communication before our stay was excellent, upon arrival the property was still being clean but wasn't able to reach the property manager instantly both numbers provided went to voicemail. The cleaner contacted us just over a hour after our initial attempt to check in at 3pm, the stated time and we returned. The apartment/condo is very pleasant, it has some nice touches with tasteful furniture, good colour scheme on the decor and refurbished kitchen and bathroom areas. When we accessed the property there was a dehumidifier machine running constantly in the main living/dining area and although we were staying 2 nights, we emptied the unit of water twice during the 1st day. There are some areas that need attention which I highlighted to the prop manager, e.g. damp areas in master bedroom with paper lifting from wall around door sliders, damage to laminate floor in several places, 2 of 4 light bulbs not working in master bathroom and a lack of crockery in the kitchen, e.g. only 2 side plates, 4 cups all mismatched, would have expected better as the unit looked so pristine from the photos. The prop manager agreed to refund us the unused portion of our stay when we highlighted our issues, so even though he was not obligated to he treated us very fairly and we are appreciative of his pragmatic handling of the situation.
