Home away from home!

You will be close to everything when you stay at this family friendly retreat. Zion National Park is just 30 minutes away. My favorite things about the home are the themed ceilings, hot tub for relaxing, tree house and sandbox for kids. The home was tailored for comfort. Plenty of room for your family and friends. 75inch TV for watching your favorite tv shows/movie.

If you’re looking for a quiet and fun getaway, please enjoy!


*Side note the garage was converted into an art studio for my mothers use.

Great home to decompress from the National Parks!

We used this home as a base to tour the National Parks nearby. It was a great comfortable place to decompress every day!

Visit to Bryce and Zion with friends

The house itself was fine, nice location, plenty big for two couples. The kitchen amenities had a lot to be desired though . Not many pots and pans, no glasses other than plastic. Knives were in bad shape. The hot tub was green, we didn’t use it. But, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning made the stay much nicer. We enjoyed our stay.

This is not a whole house listing

We arrived a day late for our stay due to a lengthy drive. I phoned David Smith the property manager to let him know that we would be arriving a day late. He assured it was no problem, they were ready for us, and looking forward to having us. When we arrived the next day none of the beds were made, the bathrooms were filthy, the hot tub was filled with murky green water, the laundry from the previous guest was heaped on the floor in the laundry room, and there was someone living in a sectioned off area on the property...that someone had multiple dogs that barked non-stop. We left several messages for David who did not return our calls until 36 hours after we arrived. There were no extra linens for us to use so we ended up doing the previous guests laundry so we could make the beds and use the bathrooms, it was disgusting. This property is not as advertised. The garage has not been turned into an art studio for the owners mother. There is a full time resident living in the property, you will not have the full house and you will have to endure endless barking and noise. We contacted VRBO about this issue and they have partially refunded our expenses. If you are looking for a lovely getaway we would advise you to keep looking. The negative reviews on this property are entirely accurate. VRBO ought to remove this listing. The manager is not a premier host, and you will be cohabitating with a stranger.

Enjoyable Stay

Home is convenient located. Easy access to the freeway. Grocery store is about a mile away. Home was comfortable, plenty of space, and dog friendly a plus. It was odd that someone lives in the converted garage; however, that is my own fault, since I did not read the full description. A suggestion would be have some nice drinking glassware not just plastic and additional coffee cups that are a bit larger. We really enjoyed our stay and would gladly book again. Thank you

Clean and Organized

This place was probably the cleanest that we've ever stayed at. Everything was clearly explained in the check-in email and we didn't even need to contact the owner for anything. There were plenty of clean towels for the showers and the hot tub. If I were to give some constructive feedback, perhaps there could be more items in the kitchen, or some more games. But overall, it was a great space for what we needed.

Someone else was staying in the refurb garage

The listing states that the garage had been refurbished to support an art studio. What the listing doesn’t say is that someone is actually living in the art studio with two dogs. The dogs barked all the time and there were loud noises coming from the studio during all hours of the day. When I contacted the host to ask if someone else was staying at the property he never responded. The hot tub was not clean. The host came and sort of cleaned the hot tub when we asked him but there was still hair and algae in the tub. Several of the cutting knives were rusted and there were only two kitchen towels. Overall, there is limited items in the kitchen to cook with.

Nice Place

Nice place to stay, plenty of room, all the necessary accessories you need, easy to get to, centrally located in town. The only thing I wasn't ready for was how the garage was turned into another unit and someone was there the whole time with a dog. Not the end of the world, but we weren't ready for that.
