When there’s cobwebs with bugs in them up in the corners, that pretty much says it all. Stayed my one brief night and wouldn’t go back.

Perfect stay!
The room was perfect! Clean, fresh and reasonable price! Bed was most comfortable we have slept on in a long time! Several comfortable pillows on the bed. Microwave, refrigerator and kerig coffee was all clean and appeared new. Would definately stay here again and highly recommend.

Good but slow WIFI
There for a quick overnight stay: arrived 8pm ish with a reservation and all was ready. Easy checkin, very basic room: clean, all the regular amenities. Only negative was that the wireless while they have it, it was so slow I never connected.

Things to know before you stay
I read a lot of reviews and stayed here for the location and cleanliness. Both of those things are true. It's a good location and the rooms are clean. The front staff is also very friendly. I would not stay here again though because it's very loud, lots of parties going on right outside your door, also, lots of smoking going on right outside your door. My neighbors sat on a chair in front of my door and smoked for hours, my room smelled like smoke most of my stay. There is also very poor wifi.

New management appears to still have some growing pains. Ran out of room coffee pods, internet was poor. Had to pay a premium for Friday booking? In all quite adequate for the area.

Great location. Motel is under new management, and seems they made some improvements. We booked this hotel because of its proximity to downtown St. Ignace. Overall good experience.

So so hotel. Cheaper than Mackinaw City.
Web site says "newly renovated rooms". Bath fixtures looked like they were from the 60's. Renovation looks like it was paint and flooring. The flooring is carpet tiles that were peeling up. Heater/AC seemed louder than most. Needed an end table next to the bed to set your phone etc on. Top sheet on bed was extremely wrinkled leaving you to question if it was left in washer until it dried or if it hadn't been changed. In general room was clean and bed was comfortable. Site has nice deck to sit on and view the lake. Wi-Fi only worked out on deck and not in rooms.

Pros - Great location. Shop and restaurants within walking distance. good clean room. Cons - Rail leading up to the 2nd floor was not secured. needs to be fixed. TV streaming did not work. Poor wifi connection but was able to watch live TV.

Way better than expected
This motel has been recently remodeled, so everything was in great condition. They don't have the "extras" but they cover the basics really, really well - perfect for a family trip.
