St. John
We loved the condo and the location was perfect. Easy walk to everything we wanted to do. The beaches are beautiful and the sugar cane plantation is a must see. We would highly recommend this condo and St. John to anyone.

Wonderful studio
We really enjoyed our stay in this studio condo at Grande Bay. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was quite comfortable and the kitchenette was well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the sailboats and the ferries in the harbor.

Girls Trip
Stayed in this property with a couple of my friends for a girl's trip to celebrate my birthday. Great communication with the property manager who went out of her way to help us get a parking spot and shipped a swimsuit we left. The condo was clean, cool and beautiful. Walking distance to so much shopping and dining. We had a great stay and would book again in the future.

Bed & couch need to be replaced. I indicated pickup at garage, but Jenny was waiting at doc. She did help another traveler to check in after no greeter. So that was very nice.

Donna, Both mattresses are actually new. I’ve learned that the funny thing about mattresses is that people have different tastes; indeed, we get lots of inquiries from renters about which mattresses we have because they’d like to buy one for home. Thanks for staying with us. Tom

Perfect Spot on Perfect Island
I'd recommend the Grande Bay for a comfortable St John stay. So convenient to restaurants and bars in Cruz Bay. Nice drive to beaches. And relaxing pool. Most amazing of all are the views and the sunsets from your own room.

Anniversary getaway
This is a fabulous studio condo. Close to bars , restaurants, grocery stores and the beach. The unit has a washer dryer combo which saves on over packing. You can walk to everything! We will return as this u it will not disappoint

Great view. Great location.
Stayed at this location for four nights and had an excellent experience. The space had everything you could need. Very clean. Quiet area. Walkable to a lot of key places with taxi’s easily accessible for places a bit further out. The view is amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

St. John Grande Bay Resort Review
Adrienne the property manager was top notch. She made our stay so easy and enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay at Grande Bay, and will return to stay at Grande Bay when we vacation again to St. John USVI. The unit itself was very clean and accessible to Cruz Bay and downtown. The location was safe and very accommodating to those visiting. Would definitely recommend to other travelers considering a stay at the USVI.

Perfect location for Cruz Bay
Grand Bay is a wonderful complex, and the proximity to everything in Cruz Bay makes it so easy when you don’t have a car. The unit we rented was perfect for us. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and made everything easy for us. We highly recommend.

Great location with a view!
We were thrilled with our stay, great location within walking distance to the ferry. Great local restaurants within walking distance as well as local markets near by for all essentials. you are only a few minute walk to the beach bar which has live music and a great night life. Awesome books and guides that recommended great beaches and activities in the area. The front desk was fantastic and very accommodating to any of our needs. The pool is a nice touch and the hot tub was enjoyed in the evenings after a long day at the beach and traveling. Only suggestion is to bring bug spray, as like most of the island during certain time of the year the mosquitos can be a tad annoying... a little spray and we enjoyed long nights on the balcony looking out at the bay and adjacent islands! We will 100% be back and most likely sooner than we would expect because we are already missing our 2nd home ;)

Great location!
Stayed for 3 nights before hopping over to BVI. What a great location, I can’t believe how close it is to everything in Cruz Bay. The walking score is an A++. Go to the beaches during the day and come back to the condo, with instant access to all that Cruz Bay has to offer. The condo was perfect with an amazing view of Cruz Bay. The check in process was smooth and dealing with Rachelle with the St John Villa Company was great. She was excellent communicating before the trip and during. Couldn’t have had a better experience. Will definitely be back! Thank you!!

Best trip
We had a great time at Grande Bay. The location was close to everything in Cruz Bay. The condo had a great view of Cruz Bay. We stayed on the outside porch/patio most of the time to view the beautiful water, spectacular sunsets and the many boats coming in and out. The workout room met all of our needs and the pool was refreshing. We will definitely be back!

Another great stay at Grande Bay!
We had another fantastic vacation to STJ and Grande Bay Resort. Tom's condos were perfect....great location, great setup, and pretty much everything we needed for the week on STJ. Communication with Tom was great from beginning to end, and the staff at Grande Bay was always available if we had any questions during our stay. Would absolutely return to GB, and Tom's units, specifically. Thank you!

View overlooking tranquil harbor
Our studio unit proved to be roomy enough for the two of us during our stay. The unit was comfortable and the guest services team was very good at checking in to see how things were going. We most enjoyed our time on the terrace overlooking Crus Bay harbor, where we enjoyed morning breakfasts, evening drinks and nighttime star-gazing while the boats and ferries came and went below us. We were far enough away from any noise from the town yet close enough for easy strolls to restaurants and shops. A out out to the very helpful management team; they were excellent!

Grande Bay nice
The location is the best in the town of Cruz Bay. The Grande Bay property is far enough from the center of town to reduce noise, but easy walking distance into town without walking steep hills or needing a car. US Virgin Islands drive on the left side on steep hills and narrow streets, so being able to get around without a car is preferred for us. The beaches are an easy inexpensive taxi ride from the center of town. The view from the balcony is so nice. The kitchen is small with a small refrigerator, but we only ate breakfasts or lunches at the room. There are so many great restaurants in town. The bed is very comfortable and the room has sufficient space for 2 people. The gem is the balcony, (essentially a second room) where we spent the majority of our time when awake at the condo. The bathroom was spacious enough and had very nice finishes. Overall, a great place to be to enjoy St. John Island.

Happy First Timers
We were able to come over and stay in St. John for three nights after being in St. Thomas for a wedding and wish we had the full week here! Tom was very responsive to all questions and the property was absolutely perfect for what my husband and I were going for. Super close and walking distance to all Cruz Bay amazing restaurants and the ferry, yet also so quiet you don’t even realize how close you actually are. We enjoyed taking a dip in the hot tub after days at the beach. Taxis are very accessible at the ferry to take you to a beach or whatever other location you are wanting to go to, but having a vehicle was also nice to be able to cruise up the shoreline and beach hop! The bed was super comfortable which is also a huge plus! We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to visit again!

It was exactly as it appeared online, was equipped with everything we needed for a day at the beach, was extremely clean, and the location was perfect! Also, the view from the balcony was beautiful! The owner provided an amazing stay in paradise , close to town walk to many many restaurants, taxis , square market and ferry. Clean and our morning coffee and evening cocktails were exponentially enhanced by the gorgeous views.

Grande Bay is well situated, but the studio unit that we rented required the use of 2 elevators and a walk through the garage. The condo, while clean, requires a complete redecoration. The furnishings are "tired". There is no stove and only a small under counter refrigerator with no freezer. There should be grab bars and shelves or a soap dish in the shower. Nice views!

Beautiful view of Cruz Bay
My husband and I came here to St John for our honeymoon. The studio villa at Grande Bay was perfect for the two of us. It was a very short walk to any amenities, bars, restaurants and shopping. I would recommend to rent a Jeep for a couple days to explore all the bays and make sure so go to Maho Bay to snorkle with the sea turtles!! Only bummer about this was one of the beach chairs did not open well and the cooler provided did not shut fully which was bad for keeping our drinks cold throughout the day.

The VRBO was beautiful and clean! Perfect location, just far enough out of the city. It was my husband, myself and 2 small children and we had plenty of room. My children enjoys meals on the balcony with the beautiful view. PS. St. John was BEAUTIFUL and the weather was perfect.!

Great location
Arrived at 1030 am didn’t get in the room until 230. Our property manager was in office 3 times and didn’t even greet us. Room was great and washer dryer was key to allow us to pack light. Having beach chairs and cooler was helpful.

Richard, As you know, check-in is at 3:00 and check out at 10:00 to allow the cleaning folks to thoroughly clean the unit between guests. You were given access to the unit as soon as it was cleaned following the prior renter's departure. And, you had requested no greeting and to go straight to the front desk to pick up keys, which is not our normal protocol but which request was granted. Otherwise, glad you enjoyed your stay. Tom

Great studio in a terrific location
The studio has a great feel to it and has a balcony with unobstructed views. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants, bars, shopping, groceries, the ferry, the waterfront, and taxis to get to the beaches. We would certainly stay here again.

Great location and super clean
Even though we couldn't book a car, this location meant it didn't impact us too much. Safari taxis are readily available. The condo was clean and well appointed. St John is easily the most beautiful of all the USVI islands, this is coming from someone who lives on St Croix (which would be second most beautiful, St Thomas is not my cup of tea)
