Insects are present on the island and the additional rain this year has created more presence of gnats and other pests. With your help of keeping the doors shut, we try our best to minimize their presence inside the unit by using pest control services. You may also experience the impact of the Saharan dust in the units from time to time. Services are performed the beginning of even months. The trash in St. John is collected from the many disposal sites (bin sites) located strategically around St. John for residents and visitors to dispose of their household waste.
The water provided is rainwater and has been filtered, but it is not advised to drink it. Fortunately, there is a convenience store only 2 minutes away where you can easily purchase mineral water.
