“The mansion is a beautiful, historic treasure. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful and tasty, and the amenities were very nice. The proprietor generously shared her time talking about the history, the community, etc. Highly recommend for those who enjoy indulging in history and beauty during their stay.”

“The staff was very helpful during my short stay. Breakfast was decent. The pancake maker was fun and the pancakes tasted good too. There was one item in the choices that I was not very happy about. The two things that could be improved were: 1) My room had some soda or something spots on the wall. “The young man at the desk was very friendly and kind (AND I have to mention a ginger with blue eyes!) Very nice young man and helpful as well. Breakfast was awful. I know it's free so shouldn't complain but, ice cold eggs and sausage. They were even in a warmer. Otherwise the room was nice, the bed comfy anr/ .shower was great.”
