This property has a nice renovation while keeping a lot of its original character. Very clean and comfortable beds as well. The location couldn’t be better! We really enjoyed our stay.

This property is in a great location! It was clean and beds were super comfy. 3 full baths were great for 4 women. We were really disappointed to find out the balcony is not usable. That is one of the main reasons we booked this place. The owner needs to update the pictures on VRBO to indicate the balcony is under maintenance.

This VRBO was perfectly located and very clean. We were not bothered by any noose from the gym downstairs. The only negative I can think of is the combined rooms upstairs. There is a large open doorway between the two rooms that at least a curtain or shutters of some sort wouldhave helped to add a little more privacy. Otherwise, both rooms had their own adjacent bathroom so you really didn’t need to pass through the other room aside from entering. We would stay there again.

Great spot!

Great location. Reasonable rate. Perfect for our four person group. We loved the whole area. The balcony was perfect for checking out the whole scene although I do have to say the steps in and out of the balcony can be a little tricky if you're not careful. Overall a highly recommendable stay.

Local stay

We live locally and utilized the property for both an overnight stay as well as a company annual meeting. It's location in old St. Charles gave us access to great shopping and food.

Great place, great location!

We really enjoyed our stay on historic Main Street. It's nice to be within walking distance of everything from shopping to coffee shops to restaurants and local pubs. It was a fun atmosphere, especially during the holiday season.

Christmas family gathering

We came in town to celebrate Christmas with our family - this was perfect. Easy walking distance to shops and food. Cute and clean place. Very quiet as well. We will look to stay again on our next visit into town!

This was a great place for us to stay. It was walkable to everywhere I wanted to be while in town. Also the beds were comfy and I appreciated having the washer and dryer. The staff was quick to respond to any questions.

Old St. Chuck as I like to call it, is awesome. I worked on Old Main for 9 years. Business is now gone, but the charm of Old Main street remains. It has plenty of places to eat and drink, shop or just stroll around and enjoy the sights. The Apt. Was wonderful. Lots of steps, but not a problem. Balcony was awesome

We had a wonderful stay at the VRBO. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable, too! The balcony was a fun place to hang out. Great restaurants & shops are in walking distance which we really enjoyed. My family would definitely return to this VRBO the next time we visit St.Louis!

Wonderfully appointed location within walking distance to everything St Charles and Main Street can offer. Check in was easy and we were well taken care of and our hosts checking in with us if needing anything. Expect to go back again.

Great Property

This was a one night rental “staycation” for me and five friends. We had a great time in Downtown St. Charles! Quick UBER ride to the Ameristar Casino and back. The property was great for the group. We honestly didn’t spend much time in the place (just to sleep), but it was a great for the group and super easy.

Pros: Location! Walking distance to cafes, bars, stores, the farmers market, etc. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and spacious. FYI - the small bedroom pictured on the main floor is right above a gym. Our guests in that room could definitely hear music and people working out, especially early in the morning. Upstairs is very comfortable, and includes several AC units (kind of loud but worth the cool air).Cons: Stairs up to the apartment are narrow and there are way more of them than it looks like in the picture, maybe 20? My parents were staying down the street and we wanted to have meals together. The stairs were challenging (they are 80-ish), so we only did this once. In addition, the balcony was closed during our stay. We had been warned ahead of time and it was probably too hot to sit out there anyway, but some fresh air would have been nice in the evening. None of the windows in the front open.The AC on the main floor didn't work. We got in touch with the management company on night one but no one showed until 9 pm the next day. The indoor temp when we woke was about 74 and by later in the day it was 80. It's very hot there now anyway, but maybe some more fans or cooling units or should have been provided since the "central air" wasn't working at all. It did not improve after the tech came.We were allowed a later check out as a bit of a compromise, which was appreciated.
