“It was a very clean and safe feeling hotel. I didn’t like that a big truck parked along the handicap parking so no one could get in nor out. Luckily I did find parking close enough. The lady that checked me in was super quiet and took a personal call on the work phone and put me on hold while talking. However the front desk agent in the morning was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing! My kids especially enjoyed the waffle bar.”

“Staff were great. This is an older hotel that was very busy with families. Reasonably priced with good food options if traveling with kids. Personally I would not stay here again.”

“The location was good and the place was fine and spacious and creatively decorated. But we were in a suite and there were no linens for the couch bed. I had to ask 4x over several hours before they finally brought them. We also had a problem with a fire alarm beeping and had to ask 3x to get it dealt with. Even after they replaced the battery, it began beeping again so we removed the battery ourselves.”

“Staff was fantastic and the patio area was nice, but our room was quite musty, parts of the hotel like the elevators had seen better days, and the WiFi barely worked. Solid spot to stay for a night or two though, especially if you have friends to hang out with in the common areas. Would not recommend if you need to get work done though, due to the poor WiFi”

“Great location. Close to zoo, arch. Hallway smelled like sewer. Just on second floor. Signs to navigate walking with luggage in parking garage were limited. Air conditioning in room was extra loud. No shower gel in container in shower. Little things that added up to an unexceptional stay. View into parking garage made for a very dark room.”

“The best part of my stay was checking out. However, I would have checked out earlier had I noticed the plastic wrapped around the smoke alarm. More noticeable was that the toilet handle was falling off, the walls were paper thin, there was a pubic hair in the bathtub, and the maintenance panel in the elevator was barely hanging on. I have at least learned what to expect with a 7/10 rating on this website. Never again!”

“The facility charges for everything. Including water and parking, even though there is plenty of parking space outside in their open parking lot. They do not provide complimentary water upon you checking in. The staff are demonstrating behavior like those running a night shift at a remote gas station. Their breakfast options are horrible.”

“Horrible breakfast experience. The two women serving during breakfast were not welcoming at all and displayed very rude behavior. The tables were not cleaned properly, which made the experience even more disappointing. On the other hand, the gentleman working there was excellent—he greeted guests warmly, explained everything clearly, and provided great service. I had previously returned to stay here because of my past experiences, but after this breakfast experience, I do not plan to come...

“The Property is full of old world charm and very well maintained with all the major amenities provided. The manager was extremely informative regarding dining, entertainment and tourist options. Location is very close to theatre district but be prepared to travel a bit further to if you want multiple dining options. Property has dedicated street parking but can get busy on Fri and Sat nights due to theatre traffic, however, the manager was very helpful in reserving or securing spots for us so no...

“This was an excellent location for us. The parking is not as convenient for able bodied people. The HC parking that we needed because of one of us being in a wheelchair was very convenient and without cost.”
