âUsually stay at the well know brand hotels when traveling, but took a chance on this one based on Orbitz reviews and photos. So glad we did! Awesome hotel, with the friendliest hosts, valet/doormen, and staff. They went out of their way to help us to feel that southern hospitality! Lobby had elegant and Sirenaâ
âWe spent four fantastic days at the Spectator Hotel with our kids (12+13) and was completely blown away by the impeccable high standard and impressive service level. It was like being welcomed into someoneâs home - but better! âWe loved the pool and the location. The house was beautiful and our room was too. However, the listing on Expedia says there is âfreeâ offsite parking 0.3 miles away. When we arrived the spots on the property were full so I took the parking suggestion sent in my guidebook and headed to the 34 St Phillips Street Parking Garage. âPerfect location enables you to be within walking distance of everything. The location allows easy access to come back and freshen up before heading out for the evening.
Beautiful and clean inn with historic charm and modern amenities. Uber comfortable beds and the term âcontinental breakfast â does not begin to describe the wonderful spread they put on each morning. Staff is helpful, attentive and yet not in your face.

âOne of the oldest hotels in Charleston in need of some refreshments. We booked a suite and it was quite allright but but no minibar, stains on every furniture (which is fine, you canât replace them every time) but also a big stain on the duvet cover on the bed. Got to be something that can be cleaned or replaced. But ours was there for all four nights. The restuarant is great! Especially for dinner. Breakfast is not worth having, go somewhere else on the street. â
