Unwind at this elegant coastal retreat nestled on the sandy shores of the Gulf of Mexico. Sea Gate 404 features contemporary, bungalow-style design, where you'll find beachfront bliss on the private balcony with sweeping views of the coast and breathtaking sunsets.

The stylish living area was designed with coastal flair, offering a cozy seating area and beachfront balcony access. There's a well-appointed kitchen with marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a wine refrigerator, as well as space to dine at the table for six and the adjacent breakfast bar.

In the mornings, grab beach chairs, and towels on your way to the beach, and come home to a washer/dryer for all of your laundry needs. When it's time to rest, The bedrooms include a primary suite with private balcony access, a personal work desk, and an en suite bathroom with marble countertops, a walk-in shower, and a dressing area. Additional amenities include free WiFi and TVs in the living room and bedrooms.

The Sea Gate complex boasts a heated oceanfront pool, tropical lounge areas, and a grilling patio. As for Indian Shores, this quiet beach community sits just south of Indian Rocks Beach and is laden with Florida charm, fiery sunsets, and an assortment of shops and restaurants. Just 19 blocks long, it is known for its friendly atmosphere, lovely beaches, great seafood, and tropical wildlife. Indian Shores is also home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, one of the largest nonprofit bird hospitals in the country, and the fun-filled Splash Harbour Water Park.

The home was essentially false advertisement, with the listing stating that the property had kayaks, paddleboards, chairs, and beach equipment. Upon further inspection, the property listing stated that the kayaks were washed away, but mentioned nothing else about the other items. We flew and could not have packed our own items and was hence the reason we chose this place to stay. The only items provided were the beach chairs and towels. That was it. I was grateful that after two days of being there, Vacasa finally managed to get the umbrellas delivered. Additionally, we knew the home was under construction, but not to the extent we experienced. Being woken up every single day at 730 AM to jack hammers was not pleasant. Not to mention that the water had been turned off intermittently throughout our stay. As if things couldn’t be any more unpleasant, the WiFi didn’t work. It was as if nothing in the home had been checked prior to our arrival. The only reason I am giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 is because the lady who helped us, Sara, was very kind and tried her best to fix our problems. It was just aggravating to have to have them addressed to begin with when this is supposed to be a relaxing vacation. Lastly, the pool was green and disgusting. It was open, but gross. Needs to be addressed. Fortunately, we were not there for the pool but the beach. Which was the only nice part of the entire vacation.

Family Spring Break

Condo kitchen was well stocked. Beach towels, beach chairs and umbrella were very nice and made it easy to enjoy the beach. We loved how quiet the beach was. Condo was under construction and the balcony was not available. The balcony furniture was in the condo which was fine, but noted only 4 chairs. It’s hard to anticipate construction updates but for those making upcoming reservations, will be very nice..

Beautiful Beach

Stayed here for one week for family vacation with two infants. Nice place, served our needs. Good location, nice beach. Pool are was not the cleanest but ok. The condo was clean, the patio wasnt that clean and the chairs were quite dirty.. The only issue that we had was a broken living room chair. It was broken when we got there. The review from the people who stayed just before us, also commented on the broken chair. Not sure why it wasnèt replaced, when it was obviously broken. Contacted the manager twice and it was never replaced. The storage garage could really use some tidying up and throw out broken things. Overall, it was a good family area and we will recommend it.

Extremely Disappointed - Not as Advertised

I have never written a negative review on a rental property, but this one deserves it. We have stayed in the Seagate community before with a very positive experience so we had a level of expectation, especially at this price point. Outside of the ideal location, there are not many good things to say about this particular unit. When we arrived the condo was in need of a deep cleaning. Every light fixture, faucet and surface had a layer of dirt & grime. We spent a few hours cleaning each room before we could unpack. Things continued to go downhill from here, as this condo has the potential to sleep around 8 people, but there were very few glasses, dishes & plates & what was there was mismatched & looked as though it had been purchased at a garage sale. Most of the drinkware was a collection of random plastic cups. It was the same with the beach towels & the kitchen towels- there were very few & they were really in threadbare condition. We had to go to Home Goods & spend $100 just to have the essentials for our three week stay. One of the biggest disappointments about this unit was the outdated, cheap, dirty and uncomfortable furnishings. There was a broken recliner that was unusable, two wicker chairs that are more suited for an outdoor porch and not something you'd want to relax and watch tv in. Vacasa was basically unresponsive, didn't send workers out as they said, etc. We received a small amount of "rebate" from Vacasa, but not enough to make-up for this bad experience.

Major construction project during our stay, not disclosed

There was a major renovation project ongoing at the property during our entire stay. The entire beach front was torn out and a new paver patio was being installed. The ocean view from our balcony was lovely, but the ambience was spoiled by the sounds of bulldozers, forklifts, masonry saws and gravel tampers for 8-10 hours/day throughout our stay. Beach access from the property was blocked by the construction, necessitating a 1/4 mile trek to the public access with beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers and toddlers just to reach the beach. The ONLY indication of any maintenance at the time of booking in February was a notice that the pool would be closed until 5/12. In fact the pool is estimated to not be open until after 5/19, well after our departure. The listing indicated that the complex "next door", would allow use of their pool. In fact, the pool was 2 complexes over, a1/2 block walk along a busy street, which is not ideal with toddlers. The construction schedule was posted in the elevators, so this should have been transparent to potential renters. I realize that some things are beyond the owner's control, but transparency regarding the renovation schedule is clearly within their control. The unit was also advertised as having beach chairs, kayaks and other amenities available to the renters. On arrival, there were no directions on how to access this equipment on my check-in email or in the unit. I had to call Vacasa and go through an extended phone call to get instructions. This should have been clearly spelled out in our check-in or instructions available in the unit. There were very limited supplies of paper towels, laundry soap, trash bags and dishwasher detergent that we had to resupply at our own expense. In summary, buyer beware: great condo, not so great: owners or service.

Unit is large, fully equipped and centrally located and directly on the beach with outdoor pool. Great for a family of 6. some of the patio furniture needs replacing and the washing machine did not work properly.

Spring Break

Pros-the home was just as advertised, great location, comfortable beds, clean, adequate house and beach supplies. Cons-management did not correct issue of the dead batteries with the door lock (we bought batteries and fixed ourselves) so we could not initially get in to the condo, a wall painting fell on my son when he sat on the bed, I burnt my thumb due to a hole in the only oven mitt, toaster did not work. I would stay again but I was not impressed with Vacasa Management.

Amazing property!

Wow! This condo was incredible! Exceptionally clean upon arrival. Perfect for our family of 6, which includes toddlers. Great location with easy access to anything you could want or need for a beach vacation. We would absolutely stay here again, or recommend it to anyone traveling to the area!

Clean and beautiful

We really enjoyed this rental. It was extremely clean, well located, and comfortable. Only thing missing were wine glasses (they had plastic ones but not glass). Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious condo perfect for large groups-exactly as pictured

Our group of 5 adults really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. The condo was so spacious and had more than enough room for us. The view was beautiful and beach access and pool were very convenient. It was so nice to have the garage with beach supplies available for our stay. The only issue we had with that was that the garage is shared with another condo of the same owners with supplies designated for each unit on each side and our first day, the group from the other unit took the majority of the chairs in the garage leaving only 2 for our group of 5. This was a minor inconvenience and was not an issue for the last two days of our trip. The elevator did break down right as we were trying to check out on our last day and having to go up and down the stairs multiple times with all of our luggage was certainly not fun, but no fault of the owners or property manager. I do wish the balcony had more comfortable seating than the director chairs. Overall, we would definitely not hesitate to stay in this unit again should we come back to the area!

Sea Gate Trip

Overall, a well decorated, comfortable condo. Upscale furnishings and comfortable beds. Biggest complaint is lack of parking for a three bedroom/8 person condo. One space is just not enough. We found that the floors looked clean but bottoms of our feet told a different story. Again, overall a great trip and place to stay.

Exceeded expectations

Excellent location!! Beautiful sunsets!

This was a great location, and worked perfectly for our family of 5 for a week. The kids loved the large bedroom with with three beds, as they all had fun sharing a room. There are several updates to the property that could make it better (master bath shower head, locking mechanisms on sliding doors to balcony, and some updated pots and pans) as mentioned by previous reviews, but nothing major that would cause me not to recommend the property. The pool was heated and warm, which was great for the kids, even on cooler days. Remember to print the parking pass for your vehicle before you come, otherwise it’s a bit of an inconvenience to have to go print the parking pass to put in your vehicle.

Good Getaway

The location of this condo is perfect. Sitting out on your personal terrace every evening and watching the sunset couldn't be better. Restaurants and shopping are all within a short distance. The management company was quick to respond to some questions and the process of entry was simple. The condo has just about everything you need. However, the condo itself could use the owners attention, and I did inform the management company of the issues. The condo was clean but some items need to be replaced. If you plan on cooking, the pots and pans are in very poor condition and need to be replaced. Deck furniture is pretty worn, slider door in master bedroom is broken, water pressure in master bath shower is poor, and some other things could be replaced too. These are not reasons for people not to stay here, this was a nice unit, but I think people should be aware of what they are renting with an honest review.

Perfect Vacation Rental

This vacation rental was amazing! My family and I travel quite a bit and this is by far the cleanest rental we have ever stayed in. Everything was as shown online. This rental was in a great location for families (not as touristy and crowded, yet still had stores and restaurants close by), super cute and comfy, beds were comfortable, beach access was right behind the building, and the the sunsets were beautiful every night! Definitely have no complaints!
