Perfect location

Loved it!

We stayed at the Surf Song at the beginning of June 2025. I didn't set my hopes to high and I was so happy when the unit surpassed my expectations! We stayed for 5 days and enjoyed it so much.The balcony is just large enough for 4 chairs and a smaller table and we sat out there a lot. The ocean breezes coupled with looking out on the sand and ocean is spectacular! The beach is so accessible and the pool area is very nice as well. The unit was clean and well stocked. It has been updated with very nice finishes and feels fresh. We appreciated the extra bedding and pillows to choose from. We had everything we needed. We cooked out one night down at the gas plumbed grills that worked very well.The location is perfect right across from John's Pass. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to visit as well on Gulf Blvd. We booked a Shelling cruise with Hubbard's Marina at John's Pass. It was great fun and the teens loved it! Perfect location

We had a fantastic time here. Location is perfect for the easy beach access, and for John’s pass. The pool was a hit for the kids. Size of the room was great for our family of 4. Only down fall was the cleanliness. Condo needs a good deep cleaning. But all we did was sleep there. We would stay here again.

Beach hotel

The location can't be beat. With John's pass right across the street and a quiet beach this is a great place for a vacation. It is definitely more of an adults condo. Simply because most of the other guests there are adults, not many kids. Granted we stayed in October so that might have something to do with it. it is an older building, nothing big and fancy. The room was spacious and had everything you needed. The balcony that overlooks the ocean is absolutely beautiful. Housekeeping could definitely do a better job at cleaning. The ceiling fans were coded and dust, they were old sand piles lane in the corners, and the toilet definitely needed a better clean. But you don't go to the beach just sit in the room so it did not hinder the overall vacation!

Amazing decor and balcony ocean front made it 100!

We were so pleased w/ everything since booking & arriving! The lady at the front desk so friendly and easy to talk to. Assigned parking is great although we never had to leave in our car. Ocean front balcony is private & covered w/4 nice chairs a couple tables it along w/ decor & location was key. Johns pass walking right across the street so nice many options. I felt safe enough to walk around alone as a small stature woman. We will def return to this room we were so leased with everything 💟 nice pool area direct access to beach walking from condo. 👏👏👏

We’ll be back

we’ve never been to Madeira Beach before so we were hoping for the best. WOW did this gem surpass our expectations! Thanks for adding the two rocker recliners so my sister and I didn’t have to fight over them lol. The oceanfront views from the balcony was beautiful, with easy access right down to the sand and putting our toes in the ocean. We barely had to drive anywhere because of being able to walk to John’s Pass across the street with lots of great places to eat and shop. Love this place and the covered garage assigned parking space was a plus. We want to come back and stay in the same condo - the decor was adorable - and the entire place was spotless.

Location could not be any better... Cleanliness on the other hand.

Bottom line. This property has amazing views and the location is the best. The pool was great and clean. It is an older building which we expected. The thing that was surprising to my wife and I was the total lack of deep cleaning/maintenance in the building and unit. The following were issues: -Abundance of dust up the walls and throughout the unit. -Shower did not drain properly. (Standing water up to ankles every shower) -Shower hooks falling off walls -Couches and chairs in living room were filthy. -Tile floors and especially the grout were black from dirt and lack of cleaning. -The staircase located next to the unit smelled horribly like urine (which made the hallway smell bad) -Carpet in the hallways was filthy. -Can't go below 72 degrees in the unit (Air-conditioner will freeze and they don't fix it for 24 hours) -Closet doors are all broken off their track and swing all over the place. -Closet doors are dusty and stained from something? -Window in bedroom opens but slams shut immediately. -Toaster over looked like someone had drop kicked it.. (Replace it!). We love the area and will definitely be back, but we're very disappointed in the unit for the reasons listed. They have done some nice updates, but have absolutely no standards for upkeep. Don't be fooled by the pictures, this unit needs some work.

Mad beach /John’s pass rental

Great location across from John’s Pass..we had the 3rd floor corner unit looking down the beach it was very nice modern well appointed penthouse unit. The staff was excellent and freindly always willing to help or talk. Pool was nice but we love the Gulf and John Pass so to float in the Gulf and watch the double drawbridges go up and down all day to me is relaxing..we will be back for this unit again and we never stay in same unit twice in twice a year trips for 9years

I love the location and the property. Had a few issues with the condo itself, but the management was amazing and addressed the issues quickly. Cleaning crew could’ve done a better job, but it wasn’t terrible. Beds were not comfortable. I would stay at this property again, just in a different condo.
