Unacceptable Experience – Do Not BookI booked this property for my honeymoon, and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish.We did not receive check-in instructions until 10:30 PM—after repeatedly contacting the host on my wedding day. This level of disorganization alone is unacceptable. When we finally got inside, the property had not been cleaned at all. There were wet towels on the floor, stripped beds, bugs on the walls, a broken AC unit, and even the box fan did not work. There were also personal belongings left behind from previous guests, which made it clear the unit had not been properly prepared.We immediately contacted the host, who said we would receive a refund but directed us to go through VRBO because she could not cancel on her end. That process has been extremely slow, and we are still dealing with an unresolved refund.As a result, we were left without accommodations on our honeymoon during peak spring break with nowhere to stay. We had to scramble to find a hotel an hour away, adding significant stress, time, and unexpected cost to what should have been a special trip.The only positive is that the property is beachfront—but that means nothing when the unit is completely uninhabitable.This experience was unacceptable and continues to be a headache. I strongly advise others not to book this property.
