About the only thing you get for what you pay for, is location. Right from check-in, we had issues. It took 1 hour to get a person on the phone to help us get in our room because there is never anyone on-site. Parking is terrible. Although there are designated spots for rooms, people parked all over the place, often blocking us from leaving when we desired. 1 evening, we almost missed our dinner cruise because a Suburban was blocking the entire parking lot from exiting! Needless to say we were very upset. That same suburban blocked the window to our room that I paid extra for- to have a beach view. The room next to ours had 2 large dogs that barked & howled at all hours of every night- scaring my kids. Room is missing: Clocks, tissues, coffee, phone, person to help, pool, & drain plug for bathroom sink! Other complaints: Pipes & AC unit make very loud noises at all hours of the night, everything in the rooms was covered in dog hair, the lights blink when you use hot water, tiny toilet, terrible shower/pressure, lumpy old mattress & pillows, fans shake & hum when you turn them on- literally heard the power running & thought a fire would start. Even when I took the risk of using them, I was scared they were going to wobble right off the ceiling! It's a shame too, the location is great & with a little more invested it could be a lot better. I'd return if I heard they were updating or was offered a room that is updated, if for some reason I got the worst room on my recent trip.
