We stayed near our daughter. Only two of us stayed, could have housed a lot more with the 4 bed rooms. Every thing you need can be found in the kitchen cabinets with spices, oils, coffee filters, even toilet paper.Very clean, and since the living area starts on the second floor, it appeared unaffected by the floods. ALL single floor homes in the entire area and nearby mainland had feet of water inside. A good reason to stay here! The walk to the beach takes 4 minutes and the lighted crosswalk makes it simple to cross the main road. Circle K on main road is 1 minute away and super convient, publix grocery minutes down the main road. The home is on the back street, lagoon so it is very quiet and has bay views from most windows and the deck off the kitchen.Charcoal grill, table and chairs in the small gravel yard was very private. The beach is huge and a really nice walk along the beach to John's Pass then under bridge and back home along Lagoon was our daily walk. There is an empty lot next to the bay access which was great for throwing the ball for our Boykin Spaniel who lives to fetch... She did sneak on the beach but one time we were asked to leave by a policeman. There were restaurants open but many were closed but repairs underway. All things considered we had a wonderful time.
