Welcome to the Sunset Bungalows - the perfect place to relax after enjoying all that Florida's Gulf Coast has to offer. The Bungalows consist of 3 separate homes - Big Blue, Lil' Green and Peach Pad and a shared pool area. This listing is for Big Blue. You and your guests will have private access to Big Blue, shared access to the pool area and your own parking spot

On arrival, guests will be greeted by the large front porch of Big Blue - a coastal-themed 2/1 home. The open floor plan of Big Blue's kitchen and living room create a perfect space for families and friends to gather, and the bathroom features a wet area with rain head shower and freestanding bathtub. The back door of Big Blue leads to a large back deck, complete with an outdoor dining table and chairs, that overlooks the large fully-fenced common area of the Sunset Bungalows.

The paved common area is nestled behind Big Blue and between the front entrance of Lil' Green and Peach Pad. The common area consists of a pool, loungers and BBQ. The common area can be accessed via the back door of Big Blue or the entry gate next to the parking lot at the front of the property.

On site, guests can enjoy relaxing in the pool, lounging in the sun, or firing up the grill for an outdoor meal pool-side. Rainy day? No problem! Guests can relax inside by playing board games, cards, or watching TV on one of the several TVs on the property - each bedroom and living area is equipped with its own TV.

Each kitchen features new appliances and is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, and other goodies, including a Nespresso machine (pods included) and tea kettle (tea included). All beds are queen size with new luxury bedding, and each room includes a rollaway cot for additional sleeping. There are two washers and two dryers on the premises and each unit has one reserved parking space (up to 6 cars).

It was a nice and clean bungalow. Felt safe and comfortable. The pool was a bit dirty but still was nice and my family enjoyed our time there. My daughter in law fell in love with the bungalow it was awesome to see her happy.

Dissapointing Property - Smell & Poor Maintenance

Unfortunately, our experience of this property was quite disappointing. Upon arrival, we were immediately struck by strong pet odors in the house, which three members of our group confirmed. This made it impossible to feel comfortable staying there. The outdoor space was equally concerning. The fence was torn down, leaving the backyard unsafe and lacking privacy. Additionally, the outdoor furniture was filthy and unusable, negating any potential enjoyment of the area. Inside, the bathroom had broken tiles, which posed a safety risk. Despite these issues, I attempted to work with the owner, offering to pay for one night even though we decided not to stay longer than 20 minutes. We ended up renting a hotel room instead due to the overwhelming smells and the unwelcoming conditions of the property. I worked with VRBO Support, and due to my back-and-forth with the property owner, I missed the 48-hour window to dispute the stay through VRBO. However, they did reach out to the owner on our behalf requesting a refund, given their own belief that the property did not match its descriptions, given all the photos I submitted. Overall, I would not recommend this property unless significant improvements are made and verified online. Future guests need to have a clean, safe, and pleasant environment.

William was a great host. He was quick to communicate regarding any questions we had. Big blue was a super cute cottage close to the beach. Unfortunately, we did not get to stay long due evacuations due to Hurricane Milton. However, William graciously refunded our stay. We hope to rebook thia property at a later time.

To mow or not to mow?

The rental was impeccably clean with a modern twist in both the bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen was fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances. The shops and restaurants in Dunedin were only minutes away. Our only disappointment was that the landscaping needed some work. The hosts were very accommodating.
