Beautiful condo

The condo was very pretty, decor was lovely. Location was a short drive or bike ride to restaurants and shops. Only problem was the door lock was very tough to manage, often taking 5 or more tries to work.

#306 Great Stay

We were in town checking in on our house being built. We decided to book a full week for the Christmas Holiday. Great top floor unit. Fully stocked, new furnishing, comfortable beds. Property Management Company Lilmar was spectacular in communications via email and texts.Pool was heated and still good for a swim in December. Easy beach access for a walk. All around great property for the price.

Seriously amazing apartment! Highly recommend

With 3 bedrooms (REAL bedrooms, not a "pretend" third bedroom) and 3 FULL baths, as well as parking availability, a fully stocked kitchen, tvs in every room, and a beautiful view of the beach, the apartment itself was amazing. The pool and beach were so easy to reach and made for a really relaxing and enjoyable vacation. Gas and charcoal grills available and easy to use made dinners a breeze, too. The hosts were very communicative (I believe property managers) and we had zero issues with anything. There are also a few restaurants and a frozen custard place with a really cool fenced in play area (awesome for little children and tired parents) all in walking distance. The pool staff were very friendly, too! Loved Cleveland and how attentive and supportive she was, nothing escaped her. Would love to stay here again in the future!

Wonderful!!

What a beautiful place! Large, clean, updated and with spectacular views. The huge beach was a short walk and the pool was immaculate. St. Simon's Grand's location is perfect. We had a terrific time and if we come back - we would definitely stay here again.

Clean and convenient

Photos and descriptions are accurate. Well appointed and lots of space. Depending on makeup of your party- primary is huge and smallest bedroom is quite small, we were adult mother and daughter travelers would be wonderful for a family! Enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at The Grand very much. The condo was lovely and had a beautiful view of the ocean, as well as some spectacular sunrises. The entire complex is very nice, and was very quiet. The only (minor) issue we had was that there is a large tidal pool on the beach directly in front of the complex which means you have to walk the length of about two football fields to get around it to get to the main beach. It makes for a bit of a hike, but not difficult. It was not a problem for us but would be difficult for someone with any mobility issues. We plan to return again next September!

Amazing!

We have wanted to try the St Simon’s Grand for years, and we’re not disappointed. The condo was beautiful, with all the small touches that make a stay so easy and fun. The views of sunrise and sunset were simply spectacular and the property is immaculate. Walk to the beach with the new land ridge is super easy, and the pool was a nice reprieve from the beach in the afternoons. The condo itself has a great setup for families, and the view from the master can’t be beat. Condo owners have given all the right amenities from a well stocked kitchen to plenty of hooks in the bathrooms! We will be back!!

An ideal island getaway

Our group of five (ages 7-76) thoroughly enjoyed this condo. The rooms had great linens and comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed and the appliances were high end with a giant fridge! The only complaint is that the coffee maker is not on par with the quality of appliances in the kitchen
but that’s stretching to find a negative. The views from the balcony were great and had plenty of seating. The walk from the front door to the water edge took about 5 minutes, depending on how much gear you are lugging. There’s a small inlet-type body of water separating the property from the beach and ocean, but there is floating bridge over this water. I wouldn’t recommend walking through the water as it is slimy and mucky. The beach here is great. Wide and flat, very family friendly. There’s even an Italian ice vendor that frequents this part of the beach. Great for surf fishing, boogie boarding (at high tide). The pool was a good place to hang out when we didn’t feel like the beach. Plenty of space. The hot tub was lovely. The only downside to the pool is there are only five umbrellas and those were over the tables at the pool. I would have liked more options for shade on the pool deck. Perfect location. Away from the big crowds. We rented bikes and were able to bike to Pier Village in 8 minutes
sidewalks all the way. Fantastic unit, good location, would definitely recommend.

Wedding weekend with friends

Three couples shared this unit. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The master bedroom was great, the other two bedrooms were ok. The deck/patio had nice furniture and view. We loved walking the beach and hanging out by the pool. All in all we had a great weekend.

Absolutely perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We are a family of five adults. The condo was immaculate. It is astefully decorated, and has a wonderful selection of books movies, puzzles, and games. Just right for us with the three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master bathroom was awesome! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need for a weekend or an extended stay. We have been doing trips for Christmas the last 4 years this has been our favorite. Everyone said that they would like to do this location again next year they enjoyed it so much.

Nice condo in a nice complex

Condo was very clean which is always a plus. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would need to prepare meals. Great ocean view from balcony. Covered parking was also nice to have. I do need to mention that the bathroom exhaust fans do not work well, they are either clogged or just need replaced, moisture would drip down the walls after showering. Although the leather furniture was comfortable it appears very worn. The king bed was very comfortable.

Gorgeous beachfront property!

Everything about this condo is amazing. From the time of booking until we checked out, there was wonderful communication and detailed instructions for the whole process. The condo is beautiful! It’s very tastefully decorated, the living room furniture is comfortable, and there is plenty of seating for 6-7 people. It was completely stocked with everything you would need for a beach stay. We don’t cook on our vacations, but the kitchen had everything you could ask for. I would suggest that the owners provide a Keurig. I did make coffee in the regular drip coffee maker, but I am not used to that! We were there the week after Labor Day, so it was VERY quiet. The St Simons Grand property itself was very clean and beautiful. It’s gated, and you need a passcode to get in, which provides nice security. The elevator was always available and quick. The third floor unit is awesome, because there is no one above you to make noise. Three bedrooms with their own private bathrooms was SO nice! The master bedroom is HUGE and has a beautiful view from the balcony. I like a firm mattress, so I was comfortable, but my daughter and her husband slept in the Queen bedroom (maybe full size?) and they thought the mattress was very hard. The only “con” to this property is the water you have to cross to get to the beach. There is no way around it unless you walk WAY down the beach to go around. The first day it was about calf/knee deep, but after the rain, it was up to my hips in parts, and a little scary to wade through. It’s warm and dirty and drops off quickly. If you have small children or carry items you don’t want wet, this could be a problem. It’s def not a deal breaker for me, but I did not like crossing it. Overall, I highly recommend staying in St Simons Grand 306. The leasing company was very communicative and helpful. The owners have made their rental very inviting, and I would love to vacation there again! Thank you, Adam and Beth for allowing us to stay in your place!
