Personalen på hotellet var mycket vänlig och hjälpsam. Vi bodde i ett rum med delad toalett som var i ett helt okej skick och städad. Hotellet ligger högt upp och har en vacker utsikt över vattnet och hustaken. Otroligt vacker utsikt från såväl poolområdet som terassen. Hotellet är förmodligen inte handikappanpassat med sina trappsteg och uppförsbackar... Läget är perfekt. Nära till staden, restauranger, shopping och sevärdigheter så som blackbeard's castle och 99steps. Rummet var i minsta laget och sängen ganska obekväm. Städningen i rummet var dålig. Papperskorgen tömdes men i övrigt ingenting... Vi fick säga till när vi ville ha nya handdukar, såväl till rummet som strandhanddukar. Wifi kostade 20dollar för en vecka. Frukosten var bra. Den ingick i priset och man fick välja mellan tre olika rätter. Vi kan rekommendera boendet till de som inte tänker spendera för mycket tid på hotellet. Passar vänner eller par med liten budget som vill bo i en idyllisk men enkel miljö...

Över mina förväntningar!
Ett jättemysigt guest house med perfekt läge i gamla Charlotte Amalie. Utsikten från min balkong var enastående! Trevlig, hjälpsam personal. Hyfsad frukost. Mitt rum var bekvämt och lagom stort och förde inte precis tankarna till ett guest house-/BB-boende. Minus för att man måste betala för wi-fi. Gäster ska vara medvetna om alla trapporna (motsvarande ett 4/5-våningshus, upp till anläggningen. Kan vara jobbigt för vissa personer. Speciellt om man måste bära på en tung resväska.

Alldeles utmärkt läge i förhållande till flygplats och fortsatt färd med färjor till BVI.Prisvärt, fantastisk utsikt, ansträngande men lite roligt med alla 42 trapporna. Trevligt bemötande. Inget om man har krav på superlyx men passar människor som är lite naturnära och tycker om mysiga miljöer. Kan varmt rekommendera det

Beautiful surroundings. However I booked it because it included a restaurant and bar, which it has neither. It says coffee and tea provided, but it was provided only at breakfast. Full breakfast consisted of granola bars and fruit cups. And prepare to walk up lots of steps and a very steep hill to go find food.

We stayed at The Galleon one night after our CAT trip. We were very comfortable there and enjoyed swimming in the pool. The view from our room was outstanding. Each employee we met was very helpful and kind. location is close to shopping and numerous restaurants. If ever in the area again, we would stay here.

I loved my stay here - Harry and Sonya were so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. For the great affordable price, I think it was perfect! The rooms were comfortable, clean and breakfast was filling (I usually had fruit and a cream cheese bagel every morning). It was easy to get from place to place from the location too. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend.

Decent budget accommodations in the center of Charlotte Amalie reachable with a bit of a climb. Breakfast was offered on the pleasant, covered porch, which was very nice as there are no proximate restaurants.

Unique property with rooms that have both shared & private bathrooms. Great location if you just need 1-2 nights on St. Thomas when arriving or departing airport but your main stay is on St. John. Lovely, clean pool. Friendly staff. Historical center of city, lovely views. Note: many stairs up to property, so may not be good if you have lots of bags and few hands to carry.

Good for budget traveler with amazing views , but if you got the extra funds I would stay somewhere else very nice and helpful owner however. The lady at the front desk refused to help me get rid of the unusually high amount of mosquitos in my room or didn’t offer to relocate me to a different room. Even though there were times were other guests similar to the same room I had checked out they gave the other rooms to new people instead of trying to help me fix my problem. No joke at least 20 mosquitos were killed in my room during my 4 day stay.

The staff couldn’t be better. One of the people in our party left her passport on the plane. She was frantic. Lakisha ( spelling?). called the airport for us and against the odds it was found, then Harry, the manager, drove my friend back to the airport to get it. They were all awesome and we will be back. We stayed here during a very impromptu and last-minute trip to the island. The property is dated, this is not a modern or luxury hotel. The furniture in the room is old, there is a shared microwave in a common area (not in the room),etc. But that didn't bother us at all. The room was clean and tidy, linens were clean, the views were AMAZING, the property was safe and quiet, and it's centrally located in the heart of town. There is a very nice and well maintained pool area, and you're literally steps away from tons of restaurants and little shops. It was a short (less than 20-minute) cab ride from Magens Bay Beach. It was also the most affordable option around, and we'll worth it for the views and location. One thing is, there are A LOT of stairs to get to check-in and to your room. That didn't bother us, but may be a consideration for some.

The location was convenient with street parking. The hotel was rather run down with several things needing repair. If you cannot tolerate abundent sugar in food, plan to bring your own breakfast.

The property has over 85 steps of varying sizes all outside that need to be climbed to get to our room. Unbelievable. We had to drag our luggage all the way. And then the room wasn’t ready at 3 as promised. Took almost 45 minutes longer to have the room cleaned. DO NOT EVER STAY HERE. Our flight and six others were cancelled today. No other rooms were available or I would have taken one if them.

I love the laid back island atmosphere. It s very unique, not your cookie cutter hotel. Tropical flowers abound. The swimming area is very nice. If stairs are a problem for you, this may not be the best place because there are many. The breakfast is continental while you sit on a covered deck enjoying the view of St. Thomas.

Thourghly enjoyed my Stay!!!!!
I love love this place! Harry was a amazing host! All the rooms are different so be sure to double check which room you have rented. There is dish network, cold air, comfortable beds and my room even had a small fridge. The pool is amazing and the location is convenient to shops, restaurants and the ferry! Oh yeah the breakfast and the coffee was the BOMB!!!! People actually hang out there and there is great conversation!

The unique thing about this property is the joy of walking up 10 flights of stairs to your room to find one of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in. TV doesnt work, burnt out lights, no AC. Bugs. It su ks.

Budget hotel with character and a view
This is a low budget hotel but it has old school character. We stayed in queen room with balcony, private bath. Bed was comfortable, mini-split a/c unit worked great, shower water pressure was good. There are a LOT of steps to get to reception and the rooms, but that didn't bother us. The pool was refreshing. Breakfast consisted packaged snacks, oranges/bananas, coffee. You can buy beer/wine at the concierge desk. The location was very close to shopping and historic sites. Great view! Friendly and helpful staff who helped call taxi's.
