“The hotel use to be a police station,so the building has lots of character. It is lacking in chef so the breakfast was limited however adequate. The room was nice and the bed was comfy even if outdated. ”

“Do not stay here. Found hairs in beds, questionable stains on sheets, can’t explain the smell. Marks on walls, cracks in plaster that were more than hairline and damage everywhere. Needs refurbishing!”

“The staff were helpful at check-in. I had a double room. The bed was comfortable. Each guest got a biscuit and square of chocolate. There was a selection of teas, coffee bags and hot chocolate. There was an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe. The room was very warm. There was an issue with the cleaning. There was hair in the bath and the wall mirror in the bedroom was dirty. The curtains were dirty. I used the pedal bin in the bathroom and the lid fell off missing my foot. The pedal bin lid...

“Wow, what a nice place. The staff and the restaurant were great. The place is old, has high ceilings and single glass windows. Here comes the problem. It was freezing cold. The room got ok after a while but the bathroom was just freezing cold. They should think about a solution to better insulate the windows.”

“We had a good stay. The staff were great and the cleanliness was excellent. The bathroom looked brand new and was lovely. Just a few small things that could be improved - softer pillows, most of the buttons on the remote control didn't work and no USB plugs or any plug near the bedside table. ”

“The hotel is ok. Rooms are clean and the wifi works fine, staff are friendly and helpful, large parking. Breakfast is not worth 10 GBP though I had it every morning. The hotel is one of the better hotels in Rotherham in my opinon. I will book when I return. ”

“The place is a little outdated, but we expected that from the pictures. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful, it's clean, the beds are firm (a bit too firm for my liking, but my husband loved them!). We had a family room, and it was very spacious, there was a king size bed for us and two proper single beds for the kids. All in all very good value for your money!”

“The staff on the front desk were welcoming and asked for my car park to be added and what my room number was. The room was okay, did have a mark on the wall next to the bed but it didn't really affect the use of my stay just was unsightly. Good value room for the money paid but the bed was a little uncomfortable for me. ”
