Husdjursvänliga hotell i Stanford-le-Hope

“This is my second time to this cute little place. It is very nice with high ambition, but there where a couple of things that can improve a lot. I booked 5 rooms (one booking with 4 named persons, and an additional booking with only my name) for one night for a party of 5. It was clear payments to be settled on site. Before I even left Sweden I got notifications from my bank that the hotel had charged 3 rooms from my account. I called the hotel and they were quite negligant about breaching...

“Ok hotel for a stopover. As always expensive food with little soul. Nice hard beds (if you like that, I do) and was upgraded free of charge. Very convenient as access to motorway is very close. Ideal for vehicles towing a trailer as parking space is big.”

“Some of the basics were not provided on our stay so really wasn't worth the money. Communication - didn't receive the check-in details by email as instructions said. The day before the stay I tried to contact the host multiple ways, including Hotels.com support x 2, with no luck. Eventually on the day of the stay I was told I would get the information at 12pm. At around 1pm I had not received the information so chased again. Was finally given the information at 2pm but was rudely told that...

“Hotellet kändes lite slitet,vi var 4 på rummen men fick bara 3 handduksset varmvatten i kallvattenskranen, saknade extra kuddar i garderoben och saknade ett uppehållsrum el dylikt. För en natt var det väl ok, men inte fler som vi hade.”

“Lovely hotel, and a good price for the facilities. There was a wedding in the hotel, and I am pleased to say the late night music didnt travel. Good breakfast selection, being constantly replenished including GF options. Very handy as a stop off on the way to France. £6 overnight parking charge, but was very secure. I would stay here again”

“Room was perfect, well sized and well situated. Pub was amazing with great atmosphere and great food. Breakfast (food and the service) was not at all up to scratch to the rest of the B&B. The area is beautiful with wonderful walks and very central. I would strongly recommend this accommodation and pub. ”
