“We booked this for our mini honeymoon the three nights following our wedding (end of Sept) and were excited to stay in the King Suite. But ended up being quite disappointed. The room was very cold with no heat and the front desk person wasn't the nicest when we asked for extra blankets. We weren't expecting the red carpet but at least a "thanks so much for choosing to stay here for your honeymoon". Some of the staff were great but generally no one cared that we had chose Dalvay for our honeymoon...

“Such a wonderful hotel! From check in to check out all the staff were so friendly and helpful! Soft baked cookies, happy hour drinks, great breakfast and excellent service. Would highly recommend this to anyone. Perfect walking distance to the water, many shops and restaurants”

“One of the best cottages in the Rustico/ Cavendish area! The two bedrooms are perfect for a family and the cottage is spacious with beautiful views. Nice that there's a playground and beautiful path to the water and an outdoor pool and hot tub. Cottage #1 is closest to the road and does get traffic noise but think the higher number cottages are probably very quiet. ”

“Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The bathroom was not clean, and there was a small, hardened substance on the bed sheet that had left a visible stain. The condition of the room was unacceptable to the point that we couldn’t even stay there for one night. When we contacted reception, they initially said there was nothing they could do, which was very frustrating. After insisting, they eventually offered us another room, but it had twin beds instead of the double bed we had...

“The efficiency had everything you need. I was a single and more than I needed but the price was good. The only down fall is that I am a senior. I asked for a downstairs room and said it was not possible. I said I could do the stairs but not with luggage so they carried them up for me. It was very quiet. With the 2 rooms. It would be good with children too. And the playground.”
