âChecking in was easy and the staff at the reception was welcoming and friendly. I was only surprised we had to pay a refundable deposit of ÂŁ50, Iâm not sure I saw that during booking. The room was in excellent condition and our son had his own little corner which he really loved. Breakfast was ok and we ordered an omelette which was very tasty. Iâd rate our stay 8 out 10. â
âThis trip was really nice, great accommodation, spacious suite. Best cooked breakfast Iâve had in a long, long time. Quality ingredients, would have liked a firm favourite, black pudding with it but didnât spoil things.
Hosts great about paying locally for my son and grandson to have breakfast with us too. Perfect.â
âReally nice place. My wife and I spent an enjoyable few days in the area and despite a wedding being held at the hotel the weekend we were there, there was no problem with noise or access to facilities. Lovely restaurant, grounds, spa and staff. â

âThis small hotel was quite a find. My room was warm and comfortable, with good facilities. It has a small well-stocked bar. It is probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in.â
âPerfect for our one night stop-over enroute to another venue. It's quite a big, old building with some quirky features but we had everything needed in our room which was well presented. Staff were personable. Breakfast was good. The hotel sits on a one-way road system. It's compact car park is to the rear of the property. If you miss the hotel car park sign on approach and pass the hotel on your left, follow the one-way clockwise, turning left just before the hotel. â
âThis was perfect for our needs. An in-expensive, comfortable room, that has toiletries, tea/coffee making facilities and a small TV. Parking was free and within hotel grounds. Should you want to walk into Wellingborough town centre you could do so within 5-10 minutes.â

"Rooms where clean and comfortable however bathroom door had some damage and two bandaids where holding and covering the damage not so fresh. Had a long day if meeting and tried to order room service but never got through on the room phone to room service so had to ho down stairs to order something to eat when I just wanted room service and a good night sleep . Bed was comfortable but pillows only ok "
"Arrived everything was locked and closed no contact number ⊠was booked in for the week but first might had to go and stay at another hotel. Hotel would not refund the first night . Second night stayed after being completely locked out only to have a rock hard bed and a room that was freezing cold with no heater and a toilet that didnât flush properly. Woke up hurting as the bed was so hard. Breakfast the eggs were undercooked and they put cheese on them couldnât eat them . "
