"My husband and I went there during the Good Friday long weekend just to have a break. It was a 3 days 2 nights get away. Nothing can be seen much in that part of Muskoka since the shops and restaurants there operate on a seasonal basis. But it was nice visiting the place sometimes when it’s quiet. What I like… Located in a beautiful and quiet area in Muskoka Restaurant options Room we stayed 611 Cedarwood is very clean, nice view, good room amenities Staff are friendly and very helpful! Affordable rates Free use of fat bikes Warm atmosphere What needs to be improved… Bed is a bit uncomfortable (spring type). I can feel the springs poking every time I turned and so not much of a comfortable sleep Pillows aren’t comfortable either. Very Lumpy and flat. Not too sure about other rooms, but at Cedarwood, we can hear other guests activity from other rooms. Sound insulation is poor. Our last night in our room was a bit disappointing because the guests from the upper floor kept dragging a chair or something hard on the floor for some reason! Can’t get a good night sleep :( Overall, I will still come back and stay there. Perhaps next time I’ll book a cottage! "

"Dinner took very long to arrive—like 45 mins for chicken pasta, which actually arrived without the chicken. One large group apparently messed things up for the rest of us."

"Fell in love with this cottage from the moment we arrived. The setting is beautiful. The cottage itself is lovely and well maintained. It was comfortable and welcoming. Bianca was a wonderful host. Throughout the entire process she was available and helpful. Bianca was a pleasure to work with. We hated to leave. We look forward to returning again soon."
