Dear Blake, We are delighted to read you enjoyed the pool table and hot tub! Most houses in the Tahoe basin were built before 1985 because the Tahoe Regional Planning Authority implemented a building moratorium. 436 Barrett Drive has been remodeled many times. Many rooms and decks have been added. New floors were installed in the billiard room and living room November 2022. Tons of materials are frequently added and replaced.

The guest that checked out Jan 21 left the house a wreck. The guest vomited all over the house; on couches, carpets, blankets, etcetera, and left copious dishes, trash, and filth everywhere inside and outside. The guest left vomit and debris in the hot tub and in the yard. Cleaning after this guest required extra unexpected time and resources. We brought additional staff to clean the disaster, and they still needed extra time to clean that afternoon. The hot tub tech required extra time to remove trash from the tub. We have since had the affected carpet and items professionally cleaned. We will be replacing carpet and furniture in late August.

A guest tracked a sticky fluid on the carpet in late June. Professionals steam cleaned the carpet and placed ant traps. We have had no reports of ants since. -Vince

Thank you for noting the new five burner high output stainless steel gas range and matching outdoor vented and lighted hood that was installed in Oct 2020, the new microwave installed in 2021, the new coffee maker installed in 2021, the very quiet dishwasher that was installed in 2016 and the super quiet garbage disposal that was installed in June 2021, the high capacity wash machine that was installed in 2018, and the new central air conditioner and furnace that was installed in May 2021. We thank you and Tyler for telling us about ants, we have implemented ant traps, and have cleaned the carpet; a guest tracked a sticky fluid all over the house this summer, which might be part of the cause.
