Welcome to one of the nicest units in the Rockies—a beautifully remodeled 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo just 500 yards from the Steamboat Ski Base Area. Perfectly situated and thoughtfully updated, this ground-level retreat offers a seamless blend of comfort, convenience, and mountain style.

The fully remodeled kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and rustic pine cabinetry. It opens directly to a spacious dining and living area, so you can stay connected with your group while preparing meals. Location for not being a ski in/out. Right on the shuttle route and close enough to enjoy evening activities. Pool/hut tub was also centrally located.

Comfortable and good location

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The condo was clean and comfortable. Dealing with no AC is always tough but we brought extra fans so it worked out well.

Great location and nice 2BR

Location was great right off the free shuttle with easy access to the resort. Unit is small and very well appointed with all the amenities needed. BRs are small, bathrooms are dated but everything worked for our family of 4. Would definitely stay again.

Great condo but iffy hot water

Overall we enjoyed our stay here but did have some issues with the hot water (luke-warm showers with occasional bursts of hot water). Be aware there is not a true master/primary suite. There are two bedrooms and two hall bathrooms. This was not a problem for us at all but was a little surprising. You can walk to the base of the mountain but there are definitely some inclines/declines so it isn't ideal in ski boots (we rented a locker and walked in comfortable shoes). Otherwise, you can always use the free bus system (purple line during our stay) or the retreatia on-call shuttle.

Short bus ride is best to get to slopes. Bus’s every 20 minutes. Recently updated unit. Nice condition. A little confusing to check in. Instructions needed correcting. Management staff responsive and helpful.

Walkable to Gondola. Patio has warmth of the afternoon sun

My two sons and I had a wonderful ski trip to Steamboat. Our condo had a great view with the warmth of the afternoon sun. The walk to gondola was fine- just needed to plan for a rolling 15 minutes.

Just ok

The posting cites that this is walkable to skiing, I call it more of a hike to get to where you could get on a lift. Outside of that we liked the location and the space itself. Overall concerns were with the service...we could not get the fireplace to work and they said they would send someone. This never happened, the free shuttle service also leaves something to be desired... We gave 30 minutes notice and then were told 3 minutes before our ride that it would be another 30 min. Fortunately our restaurant was able to move back our reservation.
