I am writing to formally follow up on the issues we encountered during our recent stay at Sheraton Steamboat. While I had hoped to leave a positive review, the series of events that occurred left our family in a very difficult position.Upon checking in, we noticed the departure date was scheduled a day earlier than our confirmed booking. Although you mentioned technical difficulties with the VRBO messaging system and assured us the date was fixed, we returned from dinner on our final night to find we were locked out of our room. This was especially distressing as we are traveling with eight-year-old twins, one of whom required immediate access to medication for leukemia treatment.Because I received no response to my messages at that time, we were left with no choice but to pay for an additional night out of pocket just to regain access to the unit. Despite expressing these concerns to you previously, I have yet to receive a response or a credit.I am requesting a refund for the additional night we were forced to pay for due to the scheduling error and lockout. I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter.
