Beautiful Mountain Condo!

This condo was perfect for myself and daughter to stay for our trip to Steamboat. Wonderful location, clean, great amenities (especially the pool!) The parking rules of only one car seemed pretty harsh, as my daughter drove up from Golden, CO and I had flown in and had a rental car. Being forced to park and hike quite a ways seemed silly as the parking lot in our area was only ¼ full at anytime during our 4 night stay.

Great location, great front balcony

After traveling to so many different condos, I’m have a list of things I look for. This place checked all the boxes. I really loved the private front balcony. Although the complex was very busy, it was quiet and tranquil. We will come back in the winter!

Location Location Location

We have stayed in many condos, and this was the best location we have ever had for ski and ski out. The condo itself was a little bit sparse, but that was OK because we are outside most of the time. It did leave a little bit to be desired. With some of the kitchen amenities. It did not have a toaster. But we made it work.

Location is great, unit not so much — know what you're getting intoWe have stayed in Steamboat many times and in quite a few ski-in/ski-out properties over the years, so we have a decent baseline for comparison. The ski-in/ski-out access here is the real sell, and it delivers on that. The unit itself, however, feels like an afterthought. The UnitBare-bones furnishings that are old, worn, and cheap throughoutFlat, low quality pillowsClear shower curtain — odd and cheap feelingBroken dishwasher tray with a persistent unpleasant smellNo personality or warmth — feels like nobody has visited or cared for this place in a whileInformation & Getting AroundNo guest guidebook or useful property info anywhere in the unitNo map of the property or details on amenities like where to find the ski lockersThe unit has a wood burning fireplace but no wood is provided and there is no note about this anywhereShuttle details are not clearly spelled out — we waited at the base for nearly 45 minutes without clear info on timing or the route and ended up taking a 25 UberSteamboat has so much to offer year-round — Strawberry Park Hot Springs, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, incredible dining, and tons of summer activities. A guest guidebook with local recommendations and property info would be an incredibly nice touch here, but there is nothing like that to be found in the unitThere are way better options out there at the price.

Steamboat Room

The ski in ski out was amazing. Perfect location for that. Kitchen was missing drawer front, kitchen was a bit dated. There was a smell that we had to air out for a while when we got there. Pretty loud clicking noise from the Heater while trying to sleep. But, if looking for a good ski in ski out it’s a good room. Little pricey for what it is. Great hot tub and pool across the parking lot.

Location was superb, w good ski in. Missing drawer front panel and unsafe pans w poor handles was not good. What was terrible was I was given the wrong door code for the building. That is unforgiveable

Solid place, zero responsiveness from property management

Outside of the property management company’s lack of response to any of my few inquiries, they provided us with last weeks building code which proved challenging from an entry standpoint.

Had a blast but don't recommend this unit without having your own car

I read a bunch of reviews before booking this place. There is a shuttle to the base available in the morning and then in the later afternoon. However, if you book through Vacasa you are not eligible to use the resorts VIP on demand shuttle. We actually made the best of it by hiking back from the base in the evening using the actual ski trail. It was a good .6 mile workout after spending the evening in town and a good meal. The public bus in Steamboat is a wonderful plus.

Couples ski vacay

Great place to stay. Convenient shuttle to and from the slopes. It was also ski in/out with a trail located behind the unit. Check in was a little troublesome. The code to get into the building did not work but the manager quickly responded. Hot tub and pool were great. Would recommend bar stools, firewood, and a portable fan since the master doesn't have a ceiling fan. Would definitely stay again.
