Under new management, Chalet Awesome is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit at Trailhead Lodge, a premier property near the base of the Steamboat Ski Area. Upon arriving at Trailhead Lodge, you can find parking in the underground attached garage where ONE vehicle is allotted per unit. Unload your gear and head up the elevator to the 4th floor unit. After entering Chalet Awesome, you will be greeted with a large walk in hall closet where you can keep the entire groups outdoor belongings out of site. Straight ahead are large windows with views of Emerald Mountain, brightening the open living, dining and kitchen area. Enjoy cozy nights by the gas fireplace on the large sectional couch, or sitting around the dining table playing games with family and friends. Those in the kitchen will not feel left out while they are preparing gourmet meals.
The sleeping options at Chalet Awesome are ideal, with 3 bedrooms to choose from. The primary bedroom suite allows privacy at the end of the hall, away from the main gathering space, and includes a king bed and ensuite bath with double sinks. A second bedroom sits next to the primary and can sleeps up to four with 1 twin bed, and a twin bunk over a full bed. A small desk and chair are in this bedroom for those who may need a work space while in town. Conveniently across the hall from this bedroom is a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The final sleeping choice is another primary suite just off the kitchen with a queen size bed, a private deck and and large ensuite bath with a standing glass shower, a soaker tub and double sinks. Chalet Awesome also features air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and Smart TV's in each bedroom.
Building amenities at Trailhead Lodge are amazing! Starting with underground parking to keep your vehicle free from snow and rain, the garage also features ski and snowboard storage. Heading to the slopes is a breeze with the dedicated gondola (winter only) that takes you directly to Gondola Square, Steamboat's base area with restaurants, bars, and of course gondolas and ski lifts! Find yourself apres ski, relaxing in the heated pool or soaking in one of the 3 hot tubs. Additional exercise options include the onsite fitness room. Guests also have access to the picnic area with outdoor grills and a game room while staying at Chalet Awesome. A shuttle is also available to head downtown for dinner or over to the grocery store to pick up supplies (winter only).
The amenities of both the condo and the building are hard to beat winter or summer, a stay at this unit will truly be awesome! Please note you will have to pick up the keycard to gain access to the unit at a different location than where the unit is, our guests do not have access to the front desk.**No Outside Parties/Groups allowed**
Parking is in a covered garage, 1 not assigned spot is allowed. No Trailer or RV parking on site! 1 parking pass will be inside the unit. Kindly display the parking pass provided in the unit on your dashboard. Garage height 8' 6".
**Due to insurance regulations, gas grills are no longer allowed at this property. However, a communal grill is available for guests to use during their stay.**

Four Seasons Steamboat manages this Steamboat vacation rental on behalf of the owners. Four Seasons Steamboat is a locally owned and operated property management company located in the heart of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. As locals, we are here to quickly handle any issues and provide expert Steamboat insights! We follow all local rules and state laws regarding taxes, occupancy, and any other nightly rental restrictions.
Each of our vacation rental homes comes with the essentials needed to enjoy your Steamboat Springs vacation; towels, linens, bathroom products, trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, tissues, etc. You will be required to electronically sign our vacation home rental agreement to finalize your reservation. Your reservation total includes all applicable state and local taxes, Accidental Damage Protection, and a cleaning fee.
Cancellation Policy:
Non-holiday reservations: Reservations cancelled at least 30 days before arrival day will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 29 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded whatever amount we can re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.
Holiday reservations (the week of Christmas and the week after Christmas): Reservations cancelled at least 45 days before the start of your stay will be refunded 100%. Reservations cancelled 44 or fewer days before arrival date will be refunded the amount we re-book with a new guest. If unable to re-book with a new guest, the entire reservation will be forfeited.
Is there a cancellation fee? You can cancel any reservation for free up to 48 hours after booking. After 48 hours we charge a $100 administrative fee for cancelling a reservation more than 30 days from arrival date (45 for holiday reservations).
We encourage you to buy our Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) insurance to ensure you won't lose any money due to circumstances out of your control.
