“Old Saco Inn in is an excellent family-run hide-out in a besitiful forest, very secluded but still near to most interesting things to do in the Mt Washington area. One of the best places we stayed at, incl. some five-star hotels, on our three week family round-trip in New England.”

“The room was clean and beautiful, overlooking the white mountains. I guess I didn't read the fine print because we were expecting some dining option. Sylvesters for dinner and the Market for breakfast were not far away. The coffee/beverage bar in the lounge is extraordinary. Would've appreciated some cleaning attention to the windows and screens so we could've taken full advantage of the view. I know that upkeep of the place must be all-comsuming. The host was quite welcoming and attentive....

“The location is great. Breakfast was good. They cooked omelette without ham as per our request. The only issue was the food at the dinner. Chicken fingers and ceaser salad were too salty and impossible to eat. ”

“Exactly what we needed for one night. Super cozy and walkable to the Main Street and super easy to park. Room was clean and even had its own fireplace!”
