Apartment Hipp No. 5 - 90m² on the 1st floor with balcony

Our vacation rental No. 5 is located at "Lauterbach 5" in the town of Steingaden (86989), 13 kilometers from Buching. The vacation rental offers 90 square meters of living space plus a 12-square-meter south-facing balcony on the first floor of a two-family home, which was built in four phases between 1959 and 1975 and was last extensively renovated in 2016 and early 2023. The apartment is very cozy and bright, featuring plenty of real wood, a granite countertop in the kitchen, and many other high-quality materials. With the exception of the hallway and the stairwell, all rooms have radiators connected to the central pellet heating system, which is supplemented by solar thermal energy.

The shower is integrated into the bathtub. The restroom belonging to the vacation apartment can be accessed via the stairwell (see floor plan). In the summer, cattle sometimes graze in front of the south-facing balcony, so you can hear the cowbells from the south bedroom if you sleep with the window open.

Access to the building is at ground level, with three steps in the entryway. Inside the building, you can reach the vacation rental on the first floor via the staircase. Two parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity across the street.

A starter kit including toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, spices, tea, coffee beans, etc., as well as dish towels and dishcloths in the kitchen, is provided.

There is a 49-inch TV in the living room and a 49-inch TV in the kitchen. All TVs are modern smart TVs, allowing you to access online content—such as the ARD/ZDF media library, YouTube, or your personal Amazon Prime Video or Netflix account—in addition to traditional satellite TV.

A small collection of board games and a radio are also available.

You’re welcome to store bicycles in our garden shed.
