Great vacation house for the whole family.
Our family planned a vacation of fishing, ATV riding the Arapeen Trail system and lakeside fun at Palisades reservoir! Sterling, Utah is the place for all of that. The house is in the perfect location and has the amenities to make the stay more enjoyable. There was plenty of room for the whole family. The theatre room was fun for the kids. The basketball court was an added bonus. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the entire experience.

Hidden Gem
My family and extended family stayed at this location for several nights to celebrate a reunion of sorts. The house while dated slightly, is a hidden gem in this area and worth your time staying here. The owners are exceptional in their efforts to ensure your stay is great and stress free. Communication was spot on and helpful always. The bedrooms are set up for all ages and the theater room was a hit with our teenagers. Hot water never ended, and the AC was great and welcome after being outside on the lake. The firepit was a nice finale after enjoying several days here with family. Highly recommend!!!

Tired, needs attention , not worth the money
The house is in a great location if you want to enjoy the mountains. However, the condition is not great. Weeds and trash on the outside. Clutter inside. The kitchen is filled with a lifetime of worn and hand me down pots, pans , knives and appliances that are not fully functioning. The bottom of the drawers were filthy and half used food items were in the cabinets. The linens are worn and the couch is filled with stained pillows. The fan in the bedroom was coated with dust and the windows were filthy. All in all I expected more for the price. The grill was so bad it took about an hour to clean it to a basic level of fixed filth. The cameras were excessive and felt creepy.. I could go on, but in short I will not be back.

Good times!
It's a great location. More than we hoped for. The home has a lot of fun amenities for an enjoyable time. Suggestions: There was some ware and tear when we arrived. The main floor couch had a couple of seams coming apart and also some of the couch pillows (as well as stains). The mattress in the master bedroom was uncomfortable hard. Having said that, we loved the place!!

Location Could not be better
What a fabulous place! If you're looking to spend some time at Palisade State park or ride UTV's up the canyon, this cabin could not be better! It's literally less than a block from the park and a block the other way to the road up 6 mile canyon. Cabin was very functional for our large family gathering. Kitchen could have used some basic supplies. Bring your own saran wrap, tin foil, baggies, tupperwares casserole dishes etc. But the bb court got used a ton, the theater room was grandkid central, and so nice to have so many showers. Loved our stay!

Great Weekend
We enjoyed our time. The house was beautiful with a large number of rooms for family to stay. It is close to the small lake. We spent one day swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding until many in the group were red from the sun. :) It is close to Manti where we were able to enjoy an evening session. We even spent time watching the horse pulls at the county fair. Thanks for the wonderful weekend!!!!

Fun Family Reunion
Clean and nice appearance. Shortage of bath towels and the single beds were pretty uncomfortable. The air conditioner was not working to full capacity. Pretty warm upstairs. We enjoyed how close it was to Palisade and the activities there. Overall it was a nice place to stay.

Great place to stay!
The house was perfect for our extended family. We went riding on our side by sides everyday and loved leaving right from the house, and coming back to showers. The kids loved riding on the cement pad out back but about gave grandma a heart attack.. wish you had a guard rail up. Loved the view of the Palisades! Overall... we give it a 10

I loved our stay cabin was beautiful and great entertainment in the cabin my daughter enjoyed her self playing outside just minor complications we had to has to go in town to get propane and we were down a sink but overall it was manageable eith other bathrooms in the cabin. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Great Cabin!
The cabin was clean and inviting. A lot of amenities, i.e. 4 wheeling roads, lake (although it was very low and unusable from little rain), view, biking, and lots of wildlife to watch.

Amazing cabin in amazing setting
Gorgeous cabin with plenty of space. Fun basement with movie area, pool table and a table to play games made it nice that we could do all those things together in the same room. The owners were easy to contact and quick to respond to questions.

Spacious and comfortable cabin
This cabin was a great space for our family Thanksgiving. We had grandma, siblings, nieces, and nephews in one comfortable space that never felt too crowded. When snow came, the outside hill was perfect for sledding. There were a few hiccups that the property manager could address to make a better stay. The biggest one was the state of the washer. A sign posted on the washer said that it would only operate with "small" loads. However, even a load with one pair of paints and three tee shirts, was not small enough for the washer to spin or drain, so we had to schedule a trip to the laundry mat during our stay. (At the rental price, this was a disappointment). Two other areas that can be improved were the thermostat - the property manager did not know the code so we were not able to turn down the heat in the evening. Also, the cabin did not have enough dishes for the number of guests it says it can accommodate. It was a bummer to have to serve our Thanksgiving dinner on paper plates. We did buy some additional mugs for hot chocolate that we left at the cabin and hopefully future guests can use those. I hope these suggestions are addressed because the cabin is really lovely. We loved the large screen in the media room, the nice bathrooms, the comfy couches, and the fireplace in the living room.

It's in the little things...
The property was beautiful and we had such a great time as a family. It was great to get to walk to the State Park across the street, but it was far enough that we didn't have to worry about the babies wandering off. The jacuzzi tub jets did not work, so the kids were bummed about that. Also, none of the TV's would work until we went to town to buy more batteries. Otherwise we loved it and would totally come back!

Clean, Spacious, Beautiful Home
We loved every minute of our stay. The home was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable! We had 16 people and fit very comfortably. Palisades State Park is even better then we imagined and loved spending our days there. We went and ate at the golf course (which is just a minute down the road) and really enjoyed the restaurant and the beautiful views! The movie room was fantastic! Also we loved playing basketball on the court outside. We would definitely stay here again!

A perfect place for our needs!
The cabin was used by our family and friends on the weekend that we buried my mom, dad, brother in the Manti cemetery. This was the perfect place for family and friends to gather after the burial and it was big enough to accommodate everyone who needed or wanted to stay. It’s a great location and definitely would go back there.

Spacious homey cabin for family reunions!
Our family of 7 enjoyed the spacious and beautiful Englestead Cabin for 3 nights! The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and we had adequate seating to eat and to enjoy visiting and TV. It was close to Manti, Utah where we had 2 events to attend. We would recommend this lovely cabin to families with young and old members--we were all over 60 years old and the less mobile ones stayed on the main floor.

Clean & Spacious Place for Families!
This property ROCKS! Communicating via email was a piece of cake - replies were given within a day of any questions we had prior to arrival. Once we arrived, we had everything we needed and no issues required contact with the property manager. This cabin is spacious and beautiful! Great for our family of 8 adults and 7 kids (ages 2-11). My favorite part was how well-kept and clean everything is - from bathrooms to kitchen appliances to floors. Very new, very updated, plenty of bathrooms and plenty of space. The basketball court out back along with the porch & hammocks was a favorite of my family's! It's within easy walking distance of the water and has an amazing, unblocked view of it too. It's also a quick zip down the road to all the 4-wheeling trails - accessible without trailering in. We would DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend anyone thinking about this property stay here. We had ZERO problems, ZERO concerns and felt right at home during our entire stay.

This is a beautiful, clean, and spacious rental cabin.
The owners were very accommodating in assisting us with some last minute details. We loved using the fire pit. I will rent this cabin agin if we end up in Manti on vacation again.
