I’ve stayed here before, and whilst it’s a pleasant hotel, there are some issues. The heating is controlled centrally, which means if you want to cool off a little, you need to open the windows out onto the noisy street. My original room had a toilet pan that would not stop filling with water, and after I was moved (to a smaller room), I realised later the bed was extraordinarily small. I am 6ft but my feet and ankles were hanging completely out of the bed. There were light coloured stains on the bedsheets, and a few crumbs - as if someone has been in the room prior to me.
It’s a shame, because in other respects, it’s a lovely hotel.
