This VRBO was not clean. Upon arriving I washed all of the mattress pads as they were visibly soiled. The floors looked dirty, and a few hours after our infants crawling around on the ground their knees were black. Pretty disappointing to have to wash the floors after paying a cleaning fee. The kitchen supplies were minimal and dirty. We totally forgot to set the cans on the curb on garbage day, which was our fault, but clearly we werenât the first ones. There were four cans filled with garbage from prior renters containing maggots left in the garage that the owner asked us to take care of. We disposed of our own garbage at the other property we rented since we missed garbage day, but the owner was quite angry about the remaining cans that were not even ours. We also saw the owners no less then 4 times during our 7 day stay. Two of the times were unmasked and unannounced. The owner even made a comment to my sister, saying âwhat made you uncomfortable about the visits, the fact that you were nursing your baby?â Not my idea of peace and quiet during a pandemic. The location was right next to the boat ramp on Taylor lake so was noisy at times. But the views and water are beautiful. Unfortunately the owners ruined our experience and we wonât be staying with them again.
