"Skuggebo Gårdsjön" - the name says it all, it's a house right on the water, a Småland holiday idyll for families and anglers with really top facilities. The Gårdsjön with our jetty is about 25 metres directly in front of you, the small fish-rich Gölen is about 150 metres behind the house in a valley and the large Ruskensee, known beyond the borders of southern Sweden as one of the best zander waters, is only about 700 metres away on foot.If you are looking for peace, nature and relaxation and still expect an acceptable connection to the infrastructure of daily life, Skuggebo is the right place for you: The main house, our sauna house and the original Lappish barbecue hut (both can be rented for an extra charge) are situated on an absolutely sunny plot of approx. 3,500 metres. Only the small and quiet road to Sandvik runs between the house and the lake, and we have completely renovated and refurnished this idyllic property from the ground up. A new bathroom, a new functional, light-coloured fitted kitchen, new flooring, electricity and a large terrace with a view of the lake meet our high standards for a guest residence. All rooms are bright and furnished in typical Scandinavian style. You will want for nothing here. We have also written the whole story about the house on our own website. With its three bedrooms with double beds and two additional sofa beds, the house can accommodate up to 8 people. The most favourable occupancy is 6 people in the three bedrooms. The final cleaning fee increases slightly for occupancy by more than 6 people. Please contact us in advance if you are travelling with more than 6 people. Take a virtual tour of our house "Skuggebo Gårdsjön": You enter the house either from the back through the typical Swedish rear entrance or directly from the front through the conservatory. We usually start here from the back, as this is also where you park your car. First you enter the anteroom, which is used as a pantry and cloakroom. Then you enter the large eat-in kitchen with dining table and chairs for 6 people as well as the fully equipped white country kitchen with induction hob, extractor bonnet, dishwasher, fridge and plenty of worktop space. The design of the walls corresponds to the typical Swedish interior and therefore fits in beautifully with the holiday home. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils and furnishings (e.g. toaster, microwave, coffee machine etc.) From the kitchen, a staircase leads to the upper floor. Here you will find two of the three bedrooms, one on the right and one on the left, as well as a larger lounge in the centre. Back downstairs, you enter the hallway through the kitchen, which leads to the very large and bright living room on one side and the lounge and dining area with seating for up to 8 people on the other. Both rooms have a view of the lake. The hallway also leads to the bathroom with walk-in shower, washing machine and toilet. The third and actually the master bedroom can be reached through the living room, which is typical for the country and age. Brightly furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. All bedrooms can be darkened and the approx. 22 square metre living room is furnished with sofas, coffee table and flat-screen TV plus WLAN. The two large windows let in the sun all day long and all rooms can be heated with electric elements and a modern heat pump in the hallway. The heat pump also serves as air conditioning if required. All furniture and furnishings have been newly purchased.outdoor area:There is plenty of patio and garden furniture for you to relax on the very spacious terrace. Large table, parasol and loungers, barbecue fireplace and rotary clothes dryer. Depending on delivery times, the original Lappish barbecue hut can be rented for really rustic and adventurous barbecue fun. There is also a small 3.90 metre rowing boat down by the lake for fishing and exploring the lake. On request and depending on availability, up to 5 larger aluminium fishing boats "Type Linder Fishing 440" with 5 and 6 HP four-stroke engines and corresponding equipment can also be rented for use on the Ruskensee. A deposit is charged for the hire. The boats are primarily useful for our fishing guests and are located approx. 2 km north up the small road in Sandvik in the boat harbour. At the sauna house there is an outdoor area with water and a stainless steel filleting table for gutting your catch. In addition to the refrigerators in the house, we have two large freezers in the outhouse, which are particularly suitable for storing fish. See details and by arrangement. Our "fleet" is located in Sandvik in a small boat harbour. Sandvik is approx. 2 km along the road. There are plenty of parking spaces available. In Sandvik there is also a small sandy beach with a sunbathing lawn with barbecue area.Entertainment:TV (flat screen TV), satellite system with German programmes, radio/CD player, many children's and board games, books, thrillers and magazines, DVD player, Internet connection with WLAN.Miscellaneous:Pets are unfortunately not allowed, non-smoking house, additional costs to be settled on site payable on acceptance. The obligatory final cleaning is carried out by us and is subject to a charge. We also guarantee the high standard of hygiene in the holiday home. Services and information: The handover and acceptance of the house will be carried out by us personally. Deposits are required for the house and motorboats. If required, we are also personally available on site to answer questions and solve problems during your stay. You can also hire bed linen or towels for a small fee if required, and payment for additional services and incidental costs can be made cashless on site. Travelling with your own boat is only possible on request. Please clarify this with the landlord before booking. The stated maximum occupancy of up to 8 persons is only possible for groups of anglers. In this case, staggered over-occupancy surcharges apply for the additional persons. Otherwise a maximum occupancy of 6 persons applies. We look forward to welcoming you.
