“A nice little overnighter with friends at the Wheatsheaf. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our evening meal at the Thai restaurant next door which was amazing. We did see some plates coming out before leaving and the food at the hotel looked good too. Our room (superior)was nicely done, lovely fluffy towels and a great size shower. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. My only reason for downgrading the amenities was because there was no lift. We would go back though”

“Lovely little hotel based on a farm, in a very quiet area. The room itself looked like a older more traditional style room with a lot of wood based furniture, the shower room was more modern and honestly puts some mainstream hotels to shame, excellent shower and the water pressure was amazing. The walls were relatively soundproof, you can faintly hear someone watching tv in the other room if you really concentrated, so all good there. The only downside in the shower room was there was no room...

“It is not possible to say how wonderful this hidden gem of a location is. Stephen and Kris were wonderful guests. So welcoming and kind. It was our second to last night of our 8 night trip. A different place every night. Hands down, without question, the most exquisite location we stayed at while driving through England. Their attention to detail, exceptional. Quality of the bedding, towels, bathroom supplies were all the highest quality. I have stayed in more places than I can count...

“The room we stayed in at the back of the pub called The Old Barn was amazing. So clean, eco friendly and spacious. We did think the top floor overlooking the lounge area could be utilised better as there was just a massive dining table in there. The staff and dining in the pub was exceptional. ”

“We had a lovely few days stay at Parsons B&B. We loved the decor and style of our room & the house. it is so nice to stay somewhere with ‘soul’. Breakfast was superb, with local fresh tasty produce. David and Allison were both friendly and helpful and the trays of tea and coffee with fresh milk, were very much appreciated after returning from a long walk (and were available any time just by asking). You can even walk to Dovedale from the path opposite the B&B. We definitely recommend staying...

“I came to hike Kinder scout. Immediately I was taken care of and brought to my room. Room was lovely, great bed, bath tub, all the service one would need. There was a quizz evening but it never got noisy and I had a good night's sleep. In the morning I was served a tasty breakfast by the loveliest people I met during my trip. I really really loved these people! Stay was easy, quizz night was nice, service was great and the staff was the very best, so sweet and kind! To this place I really like...

“Rushop Hall är ett förtjusande B&B på den engelska landsbygden. Här bor man i egen liten stuga eller i rum i huvudbyggnaden. Vi blev väl mottagna av värdparet och sov gott i bekväma sängar. Frukosten var mycket god. Rushop Hall motsvarande alla förväntningar, och ligger dessutom i ett mycket vackert landskap med bra vandringsleder.”

“My greatest experience of a B&B. The hosts Gloria and Frankie were super friendly and helpful with anything I wondered about. The room was clean, spacious, cosy and had a Bluetooth mirror/speaker! It was a bit chilly so bring an extra sweater now during winter. Will absolutely recommend this to any friend going to Manchester and definitely come back. Thanks for a lovely stay and loved the Man Utd theme in the breakfast room 😍”

“The property is on the banks of a stream with the constant sound of a waterfall which gives it a certain ambience. Rooms very clean and staff very friendly end helpful. Evening meal and breakfast both excellent. Convenient bus service to and from Huddersfield stopping right outside.”

10/10 Fantastiskt

"I stayed at Radisson Blu Manchester Airport and overall, the experience was positive. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room had excellent soundproofing – despite being directly at the airport, I couldn’t hear a single plane, which made the stay calm and relaxing. However, there were a few issues that brought the impression down. The AC control panel was so worn that some buttons were completely missing, making it impossible to adjust the temperature without improvising with a needle from the sewing kit provided in the room. One of the floor lamps had the wrong type of low-energy bulb installed, which flickered heavily when turned on, so we ended up having to unscrew it. On top of that, there were hairs on one of the shower towels, which is something that simply should not happen at a hotel of this standard. In summary, the hotel delivered on the essentials – great service, comfort, and impressive soundproofing – but the maintenance and housekeeping details definitely need more attention to truly match the Radisson brand expectations."
