Welcome to our charming Carriage House, a traditional coastal cottage nestled on the serene shores of Penobscot Bay. Conveniently located in Midcoast Maine, it offers easy access to Acadia, Belfast, and Camden.
Our newly built cottage boasts modern appliances, stylish furniture, and fresh linens.
Discover the splendor of Maine on our hidden beach, nestled against a lively shoreline. Nearby, swimming/sports beaches await. It's an escape sure to leave a lasting imprint on your memory.


The Carriage House boasts two cozy bedrooms, each furnished with a plush queen-sized bed and a private bathroom. The living room also offers a comfortable queen-sized sofa bed. Guests can relish their morning meal on the covered porch with a stunning view of the bay or stroll along the secluded beach. Begin your day with an invigorating outdoor shower with the ocean as your backdrop. For added convenience, the property is equipped with an automatic generator, guaranteeing a continuous power supply for guests.

Stunning Cottage Amazing Hosts

A beautifully built and decorated cottage in an awesome setting. Pictures don’t do it justice. All of the amenities and then some were provided. Lindsey and Michael made sure we had complete details on how to reach the cottage and checked in regularly to be sure we had no questions or concerns. Then there were the amazing treats and special Maine treat they also left for us. If there was a 10 star rating we would have given that. Lindsey and Michael should be considered superhosts. Definitely hope to return again and stay even longer.

Shoreline Cottage

Beautiful 2 bedroom cottage on the Penobscot River. Clean and comfortable, private walkways with stairs that take you right down to the cove. Everything that we needed for our stay was right there!

Beating the Heat

Spent 4 days in this wonderful, new, 2 bedroom Carriage House overlooking Penobscot Bay. The hosts are superb and go out of their way to make your stay special. The home is well appointed and equipped for a relaxing stay. The area is full of things to do and explore but removed from hustle and bustle of Camden/Bar Harbor. One of the best VRBO’s we have stayed in. Thanks Lyndsey!

Perfect

Perfect quiet clean cozy carriage house right on shore on edge of woods. Quiet and serene with everything you could possibly need. Perfect size for 2 couples. I loved how thoughtful Lyndsey was with having everything you would need right on hand. I will miss this little carriage house. It felt like my home for a few days!

Cozy coastal cottage

We loved our stay here! The house was clean and homey, perfect for our family of 4. Lyndsey was a great host, very responsive and accommodating. The wooded setting is lovely, with a short walk down to the shoreline. It’s about an hour to Acadia. We took several day trips there but enjoyed staying away from the busyness of that area. Highly recommend!

Comfort and beauty

I knew it would be a good place to stay when Lyndsey emailed me a copy of the information book for the Carriage House on Pirates Cove. It has details about shopping and dining for every little town around. It feels like the Carriage House is in a central location, an hour to Acadia and Bar Harbor, an hour to Camden and Wiscasset. Or, you can sit on an Adirondack chair and watch the tides come in and out. The Carriage House was very clean and well appointed, just enough decor to feel like home. The house is laid out so two couples could have easily stayed in the home. Everything we needed was in the home. It was my husband’s birthday and Lyndsey had cupcakes, napkins and plates set out along with a welcome note. There was a small issue with the internet which Lyndsey made us aware of. She came right over and fixed it. We also got to meet her beautiful Shepherd puppy! We missed our dogs and it was nice to get some puppy kisses! Lyndsey made sure to check that the internet was working while we were there but was not intrusive. Very responsive if you should need her. I feel like I made a friend in Maine. We will definitely come back!

Great location private setting

We loved our stay. The location was great for our dinner reservations. The home was clean, beautiful and well decorated. It had all the extras you would want! We just wish we had scheduled more time and could have used the outside shower. We will be back.
