“The window curtains were to short to block out the light from the porch light.”

“I am sure the mattress was from my original apartment 40 years ago. No coffee, no chair to sit on, no wi-fi and the front desk had the audacity to tell me it was a delux room! There was NOTHING DELUX about that room. It was my fault to stay at a hotel that was literally 100 feet from a freeway. Worst hotel stay EVER!!”

“Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Room was clean and larger than expected. The only downside was guest room doors slam shut very loudly, night and day. When built there wasn't enough soundproofing between floors. We were kept away until 3 in the morning with the sound of walking in the room above.”

“The guy at the front desk was super dismissive and not helpful. They charge a $50 flat fee for pets which is nice if you stay a while but not nice if it’s only for a night. Location is by the freeway but the area is seedy. Room was very cramped, shower pressure terrible but it was hot. Breakfast had options but none tasted very good. The place smells like chemicals. Not happy for the price.”

“The room was good for the price and breakfast was fine but not huge. Overall was pleased considering how cheap it was. Hardest thing was you can only enter the parking lot from one direction so it can be tricky”

“Clean and comfortable hotel. Good parking and plenty of restaurant close by. Friendly staff. The only negative is that the breakfast was not the healthiest one.”

“Too cold for pool Ask for a couple extra pillows, never got them. Breakfast restaurant was cold, not enough staff to serve, and not enough options on menu, so we left and went somewhere else.”

“Very nice place with a VERY unusually good breakfast for a North American hotel/motel. Small but nice gym. Unfortunately the driers were broken which derailed our plan to do laundry. Great staff - friendly and helpful and a nice pool.”

“Clean well maintained room. Plenty of parking some shaded. The biggest issue was the noise. If anyone in the rooms on either side even talked I heard every word clearly. Like they were in the room with me. Wasn’t an issue most nights but one night 2 drunk guys came in around 12:30 and were loudly “ enjoying each other” for hours. That same night someone’s toddler on the other side would randomly screech all night. Got maybe three hours sleep. For the price it was right. I would just pack ear...

“We had a very pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Portland South-Lake Oswego. The hotel receptionist was extremely welcoming, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. The room design was modern, comfortable, and well thought out. I especially appreciated how spacious and very clean the room was. Everything felt organized and well maintained. “We had stayed here a few years back. This trip we noticed the property is more dated. The shower had visible cracks and breaking down. Furniture is worn. They put plug in air fresheners in the hallways. Will likely not stay here again. Reminds me of the hotels that have been converted to temporary housing for the unhoused. ”
