âSpacious, super clean, and functional suites. The staff is super diligent and friendly. The property is kept very well, there is an ample back yard with tables and benches, dog potty supplies. This area is super cozy and lit up at night. The bed and linens were SUPER nice and comfortable. There is very good lighting in the room all over and the A/C worked perfectly. We are so happy we decided to stay here.â
âReally nice property and very helpful staff. Area around the hotel is pretty, with lots of places to sit and watch the geese. Rooms are okay--be sure to get a "suite" or a double, as the single rooms are very small. Bathing facilities are pretty rudimentary--could use a shower seat or a bathtub. "Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.â

âAs always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter. â
âNice hotel with great location by the sea. We have older children and even them appreciated the retirement clientele that was majority of the guests.
