“The main thing to be said about our stay at the poltimore is that the staff really couldnt do enough for you. So attentive and lovely. The room was clean, spacious and had a stunning view of the countryside. The water sometimes ran brown, but this is probably the only negative comment to be said. Food has always been very nice here. We happily stay here again. ”

“Had a lovely stay at The Globe while in Topsham for the evening. The room was lovely and cosy, and although we didn't eat in the pub we did have a couple of drinks and it was a very nice lively place. Would stay again.”

“This is a perfect hotell if you want to travel by train from St Davids station. Since we were staying for so long time as 11 days it would have been nice to have breakfast a little later than 7-9 every day. We had the room on top an since it was warm and no fresh condition we have to have the roof window open all time and then it became noisy with trains and barking dogs in the nights. Overall it was a very pleasant stay , nice staff and ofcourse a very good breakfast”
