Geda, Thank you for the suggestions. We have used the same brand of linens, since the conception of our rental company. We have not had any complaints over the years. It is a personal preference, and I am sorry they did not meet your expectations. Rooms booked directly through the Lodge also use this same brand of towels and sheets for your future reference.

Occasionally we receive a review that is less than positive. However, our rating is 4.9 out of a possible 5 stars based on guest reviews. We feel this review is not accurate, especially concerning our guests point #3. The only issue this guest, who checked-in on Thursday July 8th, made us aware of was of was on Friday at around 4:30 pm. It concerned the A/C thermostat reading 74 degrees. At that time, I spoke with Gideon and outlined a course of action to address their A/C issue, which included an offer to bring up a fan right then. By 5PM I had spoken with Lodge Maintenance and at 5:29 the guest texted and indicated that maintenance person had been to the unit and asked for a call back. We also contacted our Heating and A/C contractor to schedule a check of the A/C system. At 5:30 we returned the call but it went directly to voicemail. The next contact from this guest came via text at 9:32 pm: "Hi Kevin- it's unfortunately quite hot in here tonight- is there any chance you have someone on-site who would be able to bring that fan you mentioned? Thanks! -Gideon" ...Jul 9, 2021 9:32 PM We had offered a fan during our initial conversation and Gideon declined the offer at 4:30pm. At 9:32 we did not have anyone at the Lodge, where this privately-owned Studio is located. At 9:38pm we texted back that we did not have anyone at the Lodge right then and would be there on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning we received the following text from our guests: "Hi Kevin! Thanks for getting back to me. It actually started blowing cooler air this AM so we may be in the clear. Would still appreciate the fan just in case it stops working again. We will likely be gone by the time you get here. Saturday at 10:46 AM" We had our maintenance person bring a Vortex fan and inspect the A/C on Saturday morning at 11:12AM. Once we did, we then texted the guest as follows: "Hi Just came from your unit. The thermostat is set at 70 and reads 71. I set the thermostat to 62 and after a minute the thermometer I inserted in the vent showed air blowing at 60 degrees. Left the fan in case. Enjoy the rest of your stay. " Last Saturday at 12:09 PM The Lodge can be a busy place and so some of the other comments in the review are valid. However for this guest to indicate we are inattentive or intimate that we are non-responsive is just not accurate. We value all of our guests comments and concerns. So, we thought it important to respond.
