Overall, we had a glorious 5d/night stay at the Heirloom VRBO rental properties in Stowe, VT- the house/bedding was clean and there was plenty of space. Just a few things about the listing that we did not find as clear as they could’ve been stated while looking at the property listing- (10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms) we only realized when we arrived that they were 2 completely separate units that were not adjoined in any way, which made it difficult for our large group to congregate, fellowship and eat together to celebrate the commencement that we came for. There are also some repairs that need to be made as the toilet paper holders in almost every bathroom were not installed with bracing in the back and to stabilize them- so they were all slanted and unstable. The water pressure was very weak in the master bathroom shower, and there were some unusable outlets in the kitchen spaces. There was also some roof leakage evident in the corner on the stairway of one of the units. Additionally, we have been renting in the area for over 20 years and we’ve just been in/rented places where there were far more accommodations available. Overall the house is not stocked well at all- basically, you have to buy things for the kitchen, like sugar, oil, seasonings etc. I have friends in the area who brought big pots, spatulas, tongs, etc. for cooking- I also think there should be an outdoor grill- it’s such an easy add on for outdoor cooking etc. Beautiful place-we had a great time!
