“This is a great, basic, not fancy clean motel. The location is great for the ferry to Mackinaw, just a few minutes from Shepler's dock. Thanks to the motel front desk staff for giving us good information about shuttles and getting the ferry to Mackinaw Island. DON"T pay 15.00 to park at Shepler's lot, call them and the nice shuttle will pick you up in minutes from this motel. Tip the driver, they are super nice. There is an excellent cafe for breakfast and lunch across the parking lot called...

Cons- Stains throughout carpet, furniture dated , mattress was old and lumpy. When I started the water for the bathtub , a huge clump.of hair came floating from drain, it'was really gross. Towels- there were 3 small bath towels available for 2 of us to use over 2 days- advise to bring your own.towels. For the price, it was acceptable with great location...
