“Clean room is my number one expectation and they did that well. Location is a nice walk into town. Parking is easy. Bed- soft for my liking but overall fine. Sheets nice. TV did not work for us. As there is no one to speak with after 5:30 at the desk this was not resolved. Minor issue as wifi was adequate. Breakfast was poor, very small portions and cold. “The staff at the Prince Inn were helpful, kind and attentive to our needs. I felt like a guest in a stately old San Francisco or Marin bed and breakfast 40-50 years ago. The decor was charming with dark hardwood paneling and stairs, tasteful era lighting and comfortable furniture throughout. Cindy and the staff were most knowlegable concerning PEI. “Upon arriving you walk into a very strong incense smell throughout the space and persisted throughout our stay. Guests who are sensitive to scents may find this uncomfortable as I did. Also, they require you to use the slippers provided (which I found to be unhygienic). The photos show they have laundry but they don’t. The space was clean enough but some areas could be improved (e.g., bathroom mat was very dirty as well as the area around the mat and base of the tub).”
