Location made it possible to walk to both the Festival and Avon theatres. Owners were friendly and very accommodating and served a great and generous breakfast. We will be back the next time we come to Stratford.

Pleasant Experience
Clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent! The hosts were very friendly and willing to share their story. It is an older home, at least a hundred years old and extensively renovated. The plumbing and cooling system is new.

Lovely, perfectly placed B&B!
This is a lovely B&B in a perfect location to walk to all the Stratford Festival venues. Our hosts were a very charming couple of Asian descent who provided a huge breakfast fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, muffins, coffee and tea. Although their literature suggests that a "choice" of English or Asian breakfast was available... it appeared that one would need to ask for asian fare.

On a main road but the room was in the back, and was reasonably quiet. We stayed in room #4 (blue room) which had a balcony but which was accessed via the guest coffee room rather than a hallway, which affected our privacy a bit.

Comfortable and clean. Sink drained very slowly. The room was functional but only place to sit and relax or watch tv was the communal area downstairs. But we spent most of our time at the theater so no real problem.

Excellent Stay
Our stay was awesome. Very friendly, kind and terrific in every way hosts. Breakfast, second to none. Would definitely stay again. Location could not be better. Rating is a 10 for sure.

The Pengs are gracious, friendly and wonderful hosts, who operate a warm and comfortable B & B. Breakfasts began with fresh fruit and a dumpling, followed by freshly made eggs, bacon, sausage and toast. One morning Mrs. Peng prepared pork fried rice, a dumpling and won ton soup. Delicious. The location is ideal, within walking distance of the Festival and Patterson theatres. And there's ample parking behind the inn. The Ambassador B & B is a hidden treasure.

I have asked you how the sleeping(we asked our most guest about this)but we didn't get your any feedback. We are sorry about you were feeling the neibours' loud nosise. Our neibours is clinic and they closed the door in before 6:00 PM. There may be happening some other persons. Stratford's law is not allow anybody to make noise after 11:00 PM.We are sorry about that! The proprietors are very friendly. They serve a lovely Chinese breakfast on advance request. Room was clean with private bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Location is an easy walk to all theaters and downtown. I highly recommend this B & B!

Close to theatres
I chose this location because it was within an easy 10 minute walk to all the festival theatres. The host is friendly. If you have a yearning for coffee, there is a K-cup maker in a room on the second floor. Rooms have mini fridge. Breakfast may be typical Canadian or Chinese

The property was conveniantly located to the Theaters and town centre, all in walking distance. The owners were friendly and accomodating. We found the place itself to be bare bones, tired furnishings and finishings in the rooms. Breakfast was filling but again,lack of presentation, made it very mediocre. Unfortunatly, this is not a place we would return to.

Two Victorian styling solid houses of Ambassador B&B and Inn next Door were built in 1923 by twin brother in a bigger lot. They had been running as a big B&B property during from 1978 to 2000 by previous owner. We have owned them since 2012 and we have run them as B&B since 2014 to now. Our many guests from all over world and all guests are vey like it and enjoying their staying! We offer our special Chinese or Canadian breakfast according on our guest require. 1. Different morning drink: Juice, café , Decafe, Chinese green Tea , Red tea, oolong tea, milk... 2. Morning fresh cutting fruits, Morning fresh baking home make fruit muffin or home make spring rolls or Chinese bread.... many different kinds depending on our guests request and guests may allergy to any food or guests may not eat meat or guests may be vegetarian or gluten free..... 3. Eggs, toast, bacon, sausages and last asking guests for extra soups if they want it! The breakfast worth over $30 CAD per person right now in the market. Many thanks for your review and comment. Cute room, nice balcony with a pretty view over the trees. //Was given a form to fill out beforehand and chose 'chinese style breakfast' (other choice was 'standard), but was served standard breakfast which was strange. Food was good overall, very simple though. Husband talked at us all through breakfast complaining about how bad tourism is this year and asked us kind of intrusive questions! Wife was very friendly and gave us ample space. //Shower door is a bit filmy. //**Biggest issue - no fan or a/c, neighbour was doing construction at 5:30 am onwards (!) so opening windows for air wasn't an option.

It's home made Chinese food and most our guests are like the Chinese food if any guests do not eat then we will ask to change for he or she likes to eat the Canadian food.. 2. Guests be happy so we may sometime talking with guests. So when the guests said how about this years' business and how about the business was during past two years pandemic out breaking. Then we said it's no good right now and all thing's price is so bad. So I though you probable misunderstanding. I apologize for that because I may said English no very good then making you confusing! 3. We bough the shower in Home depot and it's expensive. 4. We have air-condition is running, Jul. 9 night it was gone down to only 12 Celsius。 Air-condition was setting in auto controlling. I am sorry that you felt it's still hot!. 5. I did not know the neighbor was doing renovation for their home. I have asked our neighbor and he told me that they did not that late and he probably it's 1:30 AM just cleaned up. I would go over to ask neighbor stopping the works for renovation because according city local regulations。 After11：00 PM it's not allowed to do that Many thanks for your review! I am so sorry for making you something confusing! We will do our right things and say something right talking and make our guests are feeling comfortable and fun!
