Deborah the host was so friendly and welcoming and made our stay really pleasant with freshly prepared breakfast daily. Would highly recommend this B&B but you do need a car to get around.

Had a great overnight stay at Lindesfarne. Checking in was easy. The room was lovely and very comfortable and breakfast had everything you could have wanted. Would definitely stay again and fully recommend.

What a great property! The house is very homely, welcoming and comfortable. The Pepper family were great. Breakfast was very tasty with an excellent selection. I would absolutely recommend the Lindisfarne B&B.

We had a wonderful few days with lovely, helpful hosts in a perfect location. Couldn't recommend Lindisfarne B&B more.

Comfortable and welcoming B&B - excellent location
A comfortable room with a lovely view, just outside Stromness, excellent breakfasts and Deborah was welcoming and helpful in every way. Highly recommended.

Everything was just great. Peace and quiet for a couple of days, with a very comfortable room to sleep in. Large public guest area was great, the room and breakfast was great. Deborah was very friendly, and keeps the place spotless. Would happily recommend to anyone staying on the island.

What a great B&B! Enjoyed a lovely stay here, really felt welcome, hosts had time to chat with us and made us feel completely at home. Absolutely recommended - a top choice for accommodation in the Stromness area.

Lovely setting, right in the water, surrounded by green. The hostess was very friendly and helpful, even offering to make reservations for dinner for us ahead of our latish arrival. The food was very good and ample. The only downside was that our room got too hot and there was no way to adjust the thermostat. We found out in the morning that all we had to do was open the window. The bed was a wee bit hard, too. Otherwise, a very nice bed and breakfast.

It is very close to Stromness Harbour so acts as a good base, especially for visiting things like the Rings of Brodgar or Standing Stones of Steness. The breakfast is delicious and offers a good variety. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathroom is well finished with a great shower.

Charming B&B in Orkney
Lindisfarne B&B was great! The hosts are lovely and warm, willing to share their love of Orkney with those who visit and can help you plan the best use of your time. The house was very nice, great views, delicious breakfasts and access to a lounge area just for guests.

Great place. Wish they could all be this good!
Wonderful stay. Clean, comfortable. Great details like a towel warmer, tea and coffee in room, shampoo in shower. Very nice breakfast, cooked to order. Hosts were fabulous. Very helpful. Extra lounge area with DVDs and books, TV, travel brochures.

Lovely room. Breakfast was fantastc. Hostess Debra helpful. Lovely common room with good selection of Orcadian history, bird watching and ancient sites. Mainland Orkney is an amazing place. Too much to see, too little time. Should have spent a week there. Strommness does nothave many food choices..

The host was so lovely and accommodating! Our ferry came in so late and she waited up for us. The room was so cozy and I had a good nights rest from a really long day of travel.

Warm and welcoming
We stayed 3 nights at this excellent B&B, and could not have chosen a better base for our Orkney adventures. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, and the house is spacious and well maintained, with good sized bedrooms and a very comfortable common room. Breakfasts were first rate. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent B&B - home from home
Lovely welcome from Deborah. Both she and Kevin made us feel very comfortable and at home. Breakfasts were lovely, and they were very accommodating about choices. The room was extremely nice and the facilities good and spotless. The view from the dining room window, of Stromness, was incredible!

Clean and good location to sites.

superb and woth trying!
After difficulties finding a place everything was running smoothly! (the google map gives a bit wrong location---it is on the crossroad to Birsay actually) hostess was absolutely friendly and room was very comfortable indeed. great location to start exploring Orkney. very quiet at night! Thank you!

Nice B&B, lovely owners. Hard to find at first, signage is a must! Maps take you across the street to another hone completely. There is no signage you can see from the road. But, decent place for clean, comfortable room, good service and good breakfast.

This B and B is beautifully situated. It is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and run by a young family. Excellent breakfasts,friendly service and a pleasure to visit
